Anybody know a way I could send a text message to a number on the UK Orange network? I've looked into the gateway but that only works with the Orange webmail unfortunately.
All decent posts will receive +rep. :)

Check this out, and see if it will send to you: http://www.mutube.com/projects/open-email-to-sms/gateway-list/
You may have to purchase a gateway service that does it for you.

I'd say the SMS Gateway is more reliable option, those e-mail addresses aren't generally supposed to be used for this type of thing and are subject to change/being down etc.

The @orange.net is part of their webmail which I signed up to but when they send the emails to your phone it just shows the subject and tells you to text some number to read the message.
I was wanting it for a small alert script but I suppose email will do for now.
Cheers. :)
