View Full Version : Habbo Image Hosting
Easy people,
qoou.NET (http://www.qoou.net)
What is qoou.NET?
An online image hosting company been in operation since 2009, We're now in version 3 and have a large amount of features to offer - upload your images/photos to our free image hosting servers and share them with your friends, family, and collegues.
Although the topic title states habbo image hosting, the site can be used to host any image you want to upload.
The site was created and aimed purely at gamers / users of MMOCC forums that upload screenshots, I've been a member of these forums for quite some time and haven't ever really though about posting the site here.
How to remember qoou.NET?
"qoou" is the term "noob" rotated 180 degrees so shouldn't be too hard.
Do we have to register to use your features?
Registration isn't required to use any of features listed below, we believe offering you a quick and simple way to host your image. We don't use captcha features either so you can upload instantly - Time is money after all?
Features
Multiple Image Upload [browse and select multiple files using ctrl+click]
Remote upload[Copy image from URL to qoou Servers]
No ADS
Multi-language Support
Supports JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF images.
Auto-generated social bookmarking buttons for each image
Validation of uploaded files by extension and mime type.
Image delete urls for user on upload.
Thanks for your time and I hope you like the site.

Nice and speedy and definitely what anyone would want from an image uploader. The name is pretty competitive in terms of shortness, not sure it's the easiest to remember (but with the noob analogy, I suppose that sort of fixes things?!)
I could tell it was Chevereto at a glance though, maybe make this a little bit more 'yours'. All the best with it, as far as uploaders go- this stands up well.

How on earth can you make that call, that's such an immature and unfounded thing to say?

Do you constantly just flame every post I make? and please advise how I'm not safe or reliable, I guess you are making assumptions due to the fact I haven't got over x amount of posts?

Elliot thanks for the positive response from yourself, highly appreciated.
It is indeed running a modified version of Chev, mainly due to the fact its stable and saved me a lot of time in the long run. I understand what you mean in regards to the name of the site but really I wanted something that was more of a brand, I wanted to be different to the "upload-your-image.com" crowd.
Like you said yourself quite a few people seem to remember the site after I explain the analogy between "qoou" and "noob"
The site is running on a VPS based in the UK, so speeds should be excellent for most users and I honestly do appreciate feedback from anyone, if you use the site again I appreciate your support.

Not at all, i dont make assumptions just a small site like that is going to close anytime soon cause of cost issues, where if you stick to habboupload then we know its reliable, and am I so called "flaming" at you. Nop mate

Looks like you are making assumptions again James - The sites been online since 2009 (if you read the original post - you'd of realised that)
The domain was purchased Thu 05/07/2009 and the site was live after about a week, originally running a custom script I wrote myself, since then the sites only grown.
Do me a favour and don't bother getting your post count up on my thread please James. I'm here for postive feedback on the site.

For one, if its been open since 2009 then why you only just posting on the forum. Secondly i am only going with my natual thoughts, I dont un-official people who I dont even know seeing my IP Address and the stuff I upload, i want to know all stuff is secure and locked away, and not someone just saying it.
HabboUpload have never been down yet, im not saying I wont try your uploader and it will prove me wrong but at the end of the day, people are going to chose the most populor upload sites, not the little ones.

I don't trust you, you have 95 posts. *REMOVED*
Just because he has only just posted about the site, does not prove anything, check the whois. *REMOVED*
@SS
Looks like a great site to use for image upload, once uploaded does it provide HTML codes? may start using it for my eBay store, seems a little faster and better, less cluttered then Imgshack.

I wish you good luck with your site SS, it's certainly very slick and speedy and I for one would give it a trial run had I not got my own site to use as my image dump :P
You might want some CAPTCHA on the e-mail form btw :P

Jack thanks for the positive response.
On upload you are given a number of different links including the direct link which enables you to hotlink if ne cessary.
If you are to use the multi upload option you are then given all the links in one box in which you can select your required format depending on what you require i.e direct link or BB code for example.
Small updates done today to improve the quality of the image if you choose to resize on upload.
I appreciate the support from any user and welcome your feedback to improve the service for you.

Hasn't worked from my end since yesterday evening I think, it seems to upload but the page afterwards shows a 12KB broken image - just a heads up!

Excellent elliot I apologise for the small bug earlier.
Im glad you like the site and i can assure you its not a "small site" looking to last a couple of weeks, we have been going well for a couple of years now and are growing slowly but surely, its commited users like yourself that helps the service grow so I appreciate the support from everyone.
The site was based on the idea of easy access and user functionality. Ill do whatevers necessary to provide a user friendly service.
A few more back-end updates today which is pretty much all for the time being, noticed quite a few more habbo related images being uploaded over the past few days. Appreciate all your support.
Pretty nice site, keep up the good work.
Dont listen to these wannabe trolls.

I like it but the header image font makes it less appealing, perhaps you could try a different font?

Bookmarked and will use it in the future. The ability to upload x amount of images, and get direct BB code is ideal for me.

Its only an image, doesnt effect the service im trying to offer Richie, that being said we all have individual taste and im in the process of getting a custom logo design hopefully will be up in the near future.

Thanks very much for the support, I personally try to provide the best possible service I can to those who Support qoou.net.
The multi upload offers all image urls in one field too which is a nice touch and another ease of access tool for the end user.
Free @qoou.net emails available with a decent amount of space for anyone that wants one please pm the name you want @qoou and i'll provide you with further details.

Still, i like the unique name and how it's not affiliated with habbo. When i upload images for personal/work use i'd rather them not be habtastic - plus, that's their staff uploader :S
I've been using qoou.net ever since bookmarking - really like it man. PM'ed about an e-mail

That's the older, free, generally more rubbish version of Chevereto.

Thats an old free version, which has nothing to do with whats running on qoou mate - not really a comparison without being bigheaded, also quite a lot has been edited on qoou.
Thanks for the response though.

Thanks Luke, glad you like it :) i've always liked the name I wanted something that could be a brand as oppose to having something linked to a company name or alternatively having the stereotypical "image-hosting-website.com" name.
Love some of your signatures too, feel free to offer a qoou.net alternative ;) haha
I've just responded to your request for an email, let me know if you have any problems.

Chevereto is a great script. I use it myself on a couple of my sites.
You need a Favicon by the way.
