Little sad news for those people who left a message for a badge for Prayers for Norway today. The badge has possibly been cancelled because of the controversy created by members of Norway Group because of the badge released for it. They think that all the people will obviously give a feedback because of the badge. which is true imo.

I got the badge - does this mean it will be taken?

I don't think that they will take back the badge.. it's just that people who did it today may not get it .. including me :-(

It seems they deleted the threads posted by Norwegians on many groups.

Here's one thread on people debatin about this : http://www.habbo.com/groups/ANSWERS/discussions/1071218/id/page/1

I think they should remove the badge really, I got the badge like just after I entered the poll and I didn't even knew you got a badge :o

I don't see why Habbo are letting some people keep and others not. Why not just remove them all :S I'm just wearing the badge to show respect but it's not like I did the poll because I want a badge because I don't care about my badges.

They should have just provided links for support and a group page to post.

I didn't think we'd get a badge, just thought I'd leave a nice message then I got a badge later on that evening..

I went into the room some time yesterday, after reading this thread and the article on Habbox.com. I left a message and I've just checked now and I have the "In Memory" badge, so it seems they haven't really cancelled it at all or if they have, then they suck at doing it.

Note: I didn't leave a message just for a sake of a Habbo badge.

Exactly what I was thinking. It seems as though people have more care over the badge then the issue at hand. Perhaps Habbo should have just opened a group page where people could leave messages (under some moderation of course) and wear the group badge to show their support to the Norweigans.

there are lots of norway groups, if any of you really cared you would already have joined them

It is obviously a sensitive subject, but the people who do it ONLY for the badge have put the incident to the back of their minds, and this will have reminded them of it.

Any normal person would sympathise, the ******s on the other thread not included.

In all honesty, I went to the room left my message and then the day after I had a badge, unknowing I would get one. I think it was innapropriate, As the message system became a way to earn prizes, which is sick imo.

Not just a prize though, you wear the badge to show your support.

i think they did that to stop pleople from complaining / doing it only for the badge , because i just got my badge and i did it when that message showed up
