MW3 Split screen?

I tried to google it and everyone seems to give different answers, is there going to be split screen online like black ops? I'm hoping so, if not they just destroyed a huge part of the game, being able to play with your friends online on the same console is awesome.

If there is going to be split screen how come there is so much talk about them not introducing it?

Hard to say, infinity ward haven't done it in the past, but it was quite successful in blackops so who knows, they might do it.

Split screen is pointless IMO, what's the point in player 2 if they're actually not earning any XP. I'd like splitscreen a lot better if whoever got the most xp/score would be the xp the account got (if that makes sense).

I think the way it's at the moment is fine, no-one is losing out by having two players play on the same console. I think I'll still buy it but I wouldn't play it as much as I mainly play with my brother.

So the only reason you play games is for xp, and not to simply enjoy the game?

They'll most likely start giving out mp info at cod xp, which is in September. :)
