If it is her then jeeeesus what a news story. Tbh I think it's a lost cause now though, if she was found I seriously doubt she'd recognise her parents.

i reckon even if her parents didn't have something to do with her death (which i very much reckon they did), if she had been kidnapped AND kept alive, in the light of the massive manhunt that ensued she would've been killed by the kidnapper. too much public attention to keep her alive.

yeh the mom wrote a book. she's a mug. though i've always thought this was more do with the father than with the mother.

wow at some of these comments lol. people are so negative. I don't believe for a second that her parents killed her. If it was my daughter, I wouldn't just give up looking for her if there was no proof she was dead. Yes hundreds of people go missing and don't get the same media attention but I really do hope she is found alive and well.

the media are so fickle, but I seriously doubt the parents had anything to do with it, the portugese police were pretty through and harsh on them

I find it near sickening that one girl gets this attention even several years down the line whereas the other children of parents equally deserving of this sort of inquiry, both from the police and the media, are overlooked.

Of course it's incredibly sad for the McCanns, but they have milked the loss of their one child where they could have used the media attention to draw attention to the fact this doesn't only happen to them, and something bigger needs to be done about it.
