The ex-Two and a Half Men star is thought to have agreed terms with Channel 5 to go on the programme - which The Only Way Is Essex beauty Amy Childs, boxing champion Ricky Hatton and Britain's Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, have all been linked with – in the hope he will create 'unmissable TV' after his recent cocaine binges and romps with porn stars.
An insider revealed to the Daily Star newspaper: 'It would be unbelievable. A producer's dream. No-one would want to miss the chance of seeing what he's up to and hear the wacky things he's been saying.
'And let's face it, he's been saying some crazy stuff recently.'
The 45-year-old actor - who was recently fired from his £1.2 million-per-episode role on Two and a Half Men and also called the show's co-creator Chuck Lorre a 'clown' – is set to fly in from his Los Angeles mansion to the UK over the next few weeks.
A Channel 5 spokesperson explained: 'Big Brother execs are in talks with a number of celebrities about appearing on the series but we're not confirming any names at the moment.'

At first I thought this is hilarious and amazing but then I wondered is this right seeing as he is obviously a very troubled person mentally so would it be morally right?

I'd watch it... although I probably wouldn't publicly admit to it
I don't think that's right, have they done checks to see if he is even mentally stable for this? :S

It would be good for the show and would boost its rating if this is true however this could just be a media spin by Channel 5 themselves to gain extra publicity for the show. Its certainly getting them in the headlines :P

i was contemplating watching this until i saw "Britain's Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson," urgh
think it would be hilarious but he is mentally ill and deserves help not being put in a volatile environment.

I will bloody watch big brother just to see Charlie Sheen. I mean most reality shows with celebrities are usually those who are dried up and clinging onto their "fame".

I've gotta say, this'll in no doubt boost their numbers!
At the same time though, as already stated, is it really a wise move for such a troubled being?

It's slightly different as he's only just started to die down but if you asked anyone who he was they'd know who he is. But most of the celebrities that previously appeared were just like not celebrities at all.

of course no one is going to go on at the height of their popularity, but i'd still consider him an a-lister, and if this is true he would be by far the most currently famous person they've ever had, and a huge ratings puller.

Sheen is an actor. He rode the naivete of those who read about him and watched him and became a publicity powerhouse all through an act. I doubt anyone here's even seen a movie of his and have never heard of him outside of his outbursts and that god awful show.

what's your point? i can't help but feel this post was another attempt at you convincing everyone (and possibly yourself) that you know everything. fact of the matter he IS a hugely famous celebrity, regardless of how and why.
oh, and FYI i have seen some of his movies

Latest from Charlie Sheen himself;
Charlie Sheen has responded to speculation he is to appear on the British reality series 'Celebrity Big Brother' - categorically denying he will be a contestant on the revamped show. The Independent newspaper had suggested Sheen had landed a deal worth almost $10 million to take part in the series, which begins on Channel 5 in August.
The story suggested the axed 'Two and a Half men' actor would fly to England in the near future to appear on the series, but his representative Larry Solters told E! News the rumours were "totally untrue". The actor's involvement in 'Big Brother' would have seen him follow the likes Heidi Fleiss, Latoya Jackson and rapper Coolio who have been contestants in recent seasons. However, Sheen's appearance would have surprised many - given the show's reputation for failing to attract A-list stars. Despite his sacking from America's biggest sitcom, Sheen has reportedly signed up to star in a television adaptation of the Jack Nicholson movie 'Anger Management' by acclaimed producer Joe Roth.

LOL at those people
jedward were rumoured to go in last year AND in i'm a celeb so i'd doubt it. besides the fact they have an album coming out the middle of this month so i doubt they would commit themselves to something like this when they have that to worry about..
