People do that alot, since they are desprate for the change, and the probably dont mind sparing a coin.

They might do it because you can only buy up to 10 bronze coins from the catalogue at a time. 50 bronze coins for 55c or 49 bronze coins for 51c?

Over the past week, I've probably bought about 5 gold bars at 49c each. It's because they may need change asap and if you redeem it to buy change from the catalogue, you have to pay commission :(.

I do not see how the flip the guy who sold a gold bar for 49c is an idiot. You have to be an idiot to not know by now that people can't sell gold bars for 50c. For months ever since the new tax on credit furni was introduced, bronze coins are worth much more, I could even give 47 bronze coins for a gold bar :D

Why would he be an idiot, nearly everyone gives 1C profit for change.
This thread is stupid

I've bought plenty of Gold Bars for 49 bronze, its because they want the change due to the tax making bronze worth more like someone above said. Just try and sell that Gold Bar for 50 bronze.. not very easy. :L
