It has came to our attention that some of our users have been donating to people who are claiming they are doing a giveaway for Habbox. These people are most likely telling you lies and trying to scam you into giving free furni to them instead of it going to Habbox to be used in a giveaway.
Only Habbox Staff are allowed to host giveaways for Habbox with permission by Management. If you are unsure if they are telling the truth or not, check if they are a member of staff by looking at the staff list by clicking here (http://www.habboxforum.com/showgroups.php). And also ask any member of Habbox Management as they will most likely know the answer. Most giveaways are also announced in the announcements forums or as has been booked as an event.
