a bit old, released in 2009 ahaha, but i just watched it like the other day and i had to share! it's basically about a girl that gets killed and she's stuck in the 'inbetween' of earth and heaven, warning: it's really sad towards the end:P

It was released two years ago. TWO YEARS. The Lovely Bones is by NO MEANS an old film and won't be for another thirty odd years.

I'm so biased when it comes to The Lovely Bones. It's a little rough around the edges, the pacing could do with a little work and it definitely has its flaws, but that seriously doesn't bother me. Come the ending, it has to be one of the most satisfying films I have ever seen. Peter Jackson turns a story of murder and death into something beautiful, uplifting and quite genius. Plus Stanley Tucci and Saoirse Ronan were both absolutely phenomenal in their roles. I adore The Lovely Bones.
