Hi,

Im wondering why Habbox busts out for things which can be done in cheap, more efficiant ways such as the support system, the chatroom etc?

I mean the support suite could easily be done like how e.g *removed* or ***** do it? Im not sure if anyone knows but it shows them 1 forum and 1 forum only to apply for their ban to be lifted (no i havent been banned, well i have for ***** for multiple accs :/) never the less this would save Habbox a good £150 right?

The chatroom im sure MAD said was around the same value of £150? Thats £300 right there!

Theres a few things i'd like to request while im making another feedback forum, Is it possible to intergrate into joomla a different layout, e.g we could choose previous Habbox layouts, like layout 1. Obviously they'd have to be re-skinned to joomla but im sure i wouldn't be the only person interested in this.

Well the support suite was here before any of us in General Management so it was not our decision. The only people who could answer this would be either Jin or Sierk, the system is there and it does it's job so we use it. I'm not sure how it would save Habbox £150 as I don't believe we even pay anything towards that now and was just a one time fee back in the day.

In regards of Joomla, I'm not sure if that's Habbox feedback? As Habbox no longer use the Joomla CMS. Unless I'm reading that part totally wrong.

I believe Ross is trying to save it would have saved £150 :)

Nevertheless I doubt any of the current people were involved when that was introduced, apart from sierk..

Yeah I don't think Jin had any involvement in it either as I think it was before he became co-owner.

I don't understand the point of the thread because it's the past and as it was a one-time fee (if what Matt says is correct), if we were to buy another support suite or whatever, more money would go down. As I said, it's the past, none of GM apart from sierk was involved and therefore what's done is done.

As for your Joomla point, when Habbox moved to Version 6 they let go of Joomla.

The support email was rarely responded to and people were creating new accounts to appeal bans. The ban appeal system was inefficient and also it was difficult to track if there had been past requests, or what had happened when people made previous inquiries. The support suite, when it was introduced, allowed us to keep track of all previous requests which also made it easier to track when someone had already made an appeal and avoided the whole "go to mommy, and if she says no go to daddy" routine.

Streamlined the appeal system and also brought up the response rate from about 20% to near 100%. It was, in my opinion, one of Habbox's best purchases (with the exception of the site, radio, forum, etc.)
