I'm just wondering if there's any way to track keystrokes on my own computer? Like a keylogger for myself but without the virus aspect. :P

I don't intend on using it in a malicious way, simply for personal use.

So i'm just wondering if there's any software or self-coded method to this? Literally just track keystrokes in a .txt file or something - no remote tracking or anything weird like that.

Thanks! :)

Try some of these..http://download.cnet.com/windows/monitoring-software/

Im prity sure they all do the same thing and save the logs.

The top one looks ok and its free.

Any keylogger will do it.

The problem you may have is your security suite. All keyloggers are in a sense a type of virus Whether used for good or for bad but you should be able to put it into a safe list possibly with your AV

Thanks guys. +Rep to all!

I've now found one called "Hooker". Very simple yet just what I needed. :)
