i genuinely forgot how close they are.. next thursday! is anyone else absolutely crapping their pants about it? i worked solidly for about 2 months towards them (did economics, computing and history at A2) and although i worked my very best i'm still extremely nervous about them

I'll be getting results for my AS examinations. Not confident at all, it's pretty daunting thinking about it actually because I've got to change so many things if I end up with bad results. So yeah I'm extremely nervous but I was for GCSE as well.
Good luck!

We get our results a day before, I don't want to sound so negative but I'm not really fussed, I tried my best and at the end of the day life goes on, with or without a ****e job lol.
I know I studied a lot and worked to the best of my ability but I'm still really scared that I screwed up, it makes me feel so depressed just by thinking about it tbh.

Pretty confident about two of my subjects, worked my ass off in both them. The third one is what I'm most nervous about to be honest. I need a B in it and I don't know if I'll get it or not. The exams went well enough, I knew the answers but only time can tell.

I feel like an idiot. I did **** all for any of my subjects like last time but hopefully I'll get As like last time.

I'm worrid as this time is like the only time when your results actually mean something towards your future.
But like others have said, i put the work in (but you can never do enough can you?) So aslong as the exams were fair, what i get is what i deserve.
Good luck to everyone, it's a nervous day but it's only your future at stake. x
you're all awesome clever on here, if I can pass a-levels, all of you will breeze it!

Omg why do you get results a day before. I should do ok because I revised for the first time in my life for a long period of time before my exams so I would expect good results. However like always, the more days past and the more i remember my exams, the less confident i get lol. 3 exams went amazing, couldnt of asked for better papers, 1 was half good, half bad. It basically merged two questions together to form one for an essay so all the class was confused. Half the class answered it like one questions and me and others answered it like we were answering the other questions. The last one was really difficult and I dont wanna think about it because it was an awful paper. Hopefully the grade boundaries are low for it as everyone was complaining it was hard and hopefully my coursework will pull my grade up. I will be gutted if I dont get in my number one uni and end up in clearing and moving to scotland or something!

I'm not bothered in the slightest which I know is bad, but I know I have failed and i'll be at sixth form for another year which I don't mind at all rather I welcome it. Its not the typical 'omg omg i've failed' and then they turn out to get A*, I know for certain I have failed.
But yes, looking forward to September!

Critical Thinking – C
English Literature – B
English Language – A
Psychology – A
Sociology – A
I’m continuing the final three on to A-Level in Year 13 next year, so that is pretty good news. I was expecting a C in Literature because I only managed to get C/D in the coursework and I did poorly in the second half of the exam, so that is rather surprising. I got an A in Critical Thinking in January so no idea what happened there but hey-ho. :P
I'm in Florida right now so woke up at 4:15am to check for email with them in... but didn't have one. Mum rang school for me at 5:15am and got them yaaay.
Well done to everyone else! :)
Maths - A*
Further Maths - A*
Physics - A*
French - B but 1 mark off an A - deffo remark there :(

Im so shocked its unreal, I have never got a B or A in my life so im pretty happy. I need BCC but I got a BCD. I also had a B/C from my business as level from last year so i was hoping my uni would stilla ccept me and was trying to get on ucas. After a few trys and I decided to try and ring uni itself. After a few rings they comfired I was in (only to find a letter stating i was in the uni when I got home). These are the best results ive ever got in my life, My revisions paid off big time! Everyone else has done amazing on this form, much better than me well done!

What courses are people doing to need DDC

lol its not the course that requires CDD. its the uni. not everyone wants to go to a top ranking one. i liked the atmosphere even though it was a low ranking one :D

Fair enough, all the unis I have looked at for the few courses I have looked in to all require ABB (or above). Although, the uni you choose would obviously impact it all.
What course and uni are you going to??
Psychology at either Cambridge UCL Manchester Birmingham and i need to apply to another one but don't know which one!!
Hmm people who usually apply to those unis also apply to Warwick or Nottingham (depending on if you like their courses) but there's so many unis you can choose from! Good luck anyway :D
People doing A2 this year, have you started writing your personal statements yet?
