View Full Version : Where can I get MSN 2009?

Erm I tried to get just the new version of movie maker but it downloaded msn 2011, 2011 doesn't work with my pc, too laggy lol so I need 2009 from somewhere. Please can someone link me? I'll +Rep you

I've uninstalled msn 2011 and everytime I try to download 2009 it says newer version already installed o.o

Check for ANYTHING loosely related.

Like when you get 2011 there are a host of other programs you can install like "mail" - anything you have that is remaining will stop you installing an old version :)

There's only windows live favourites and windows live sync but it just won't uninstall them :/ it says something about verifying the source

What makes you think the 2009 version won't be laggy?

I've always used it on my pc and it's fine and I much prefer it.

thats the problem i had, its because it recognizes windows movie maker from the windows live essentials :S have not yet managed to sort a solution apart from using a chat alternative :P If you find a way please share :P

You want something like this:

http://www.msn-tools.net/download/WLMUninstaller.exe

Its a 3rd party uninstaller, compleatly gets rid of WLM2011, so you can install 2009.

(You may have to reinstall 2011, then uninstall it using that, I used that above tool)

Probably have them running in "processes" on task manager

Just stop the processes.
