I agree, thats just pathetic.
No idea what the game 'Chance' is, never played it.
Why does news about the Bots change every week, one week they will be coming soon, the next week not at all?

The games of chance, so what, that's like every single game isn't it? Don't they realise that each game can be classed as a 'chance' game, battle banzai can be classed as that surely? It's chance you will lock that tile, it's chance you will get that weapon etc. Same with everything.

That thread wasn't found, I don't think this is official as it has been deleted?
No idea why Puhekuple deleted it, what is the other fansite that releases furni/news?

When I read the comments someone noted that the source they supposedly got it from didn't even list anything like that. So maybe they took it down for those reasons.
I think that was a load of garbage lol

It may mean that they are changing the way dice work, they may change it to work like the colour wheel, where they are different Furni states, but they don't go in a random order, so you'll have to link it with loads of wired.
THIS MIGHT JUST BE ME THINKING TOO MUCH THOUGH

Everything is good buy Games of chance are prohibited? I am so confused, why would you do that.
I don't see what logical reason there is for it. What's even wrong with it, there has never been a problem with it for like 10 years. I am really baffled why they are even discussing it, this would actually wipe out and ruin 20% of the hotel.

Spextor is head of the deutsch hotel right?
New gambling laws will be in place in 2012, this may be the reason? (or not)
The present German law banning online gambling expires in 2012. When the law expires, Germany has passed a replacement law that will prohibit any form of gambling over the internet, including placing a bet from within Germany to a site outside the country. The new law will allow the states to order internet service providers to block the sites of betting operators and to prohibit banks from processing payments to these sites. Furthermore, the new law will make it illegal to advertise online gambling over the internet or on television. The new law has raised a storm of protest and a spate of lawsuits. Even the European Commission has asked Germany to reconsider the ban, a request that Germany has rejected. Since the Commission can sue a member state to force it to comply with EU law, the controversy may eventually reach that point. In the meantime, Germans go on merrily playing online. Lawyer Wulf Hambach considers the risks to be relatively low. “If it were a crime,” he says, “you’d have to put about 5 million people in jail. That wouldn’t be a politically popular move.”
Even if it's not the reason, who is to say that these rules will be put in place on .com

That's in Germany though or am I being stupid I don't do all this politics and law stuff. If it's just Germany why would they do it on .com?

By the looks of what was posted, that would only affect the German hotel. So really they shouldn't do it on the .com but knowing them they might. But reading the last bit, it may not even happen:

If Germans can't gamble on their hotel they'll come on our hotel to gamble and the German law states "prohibit any form of gambling over the internet, including placing a bet from within Germany to a site outside the country" habbo.com is a site outside the country and if Habbos in Germany begin to gamble on our hotel that would technically break the new German law and therefore the knock on effect happens whereby Habbo.com may have to remove games by "Chance" in order to comply with German laws which I feel would be very controversial as many casino dealers, gamblers etc would be just as angry as I am with this decision if it is to go through. Tbh I will leave habbo almost instantly along with many others if this is the case.

But surely they only would have to do that if the servers were in germany for the .com hotel?
Ahahaha gutted for German users. I'd love to see this rolled out across them all, but it's obv not gonna happen since Sulake get so much revenue from stuff like that.

Habbos has posted a similar article:
- New rare publicity to come.
- Word came over the bots.
- They approach new events.
- Gambling will be prohibited.
After reading the replies to this thread, I would assume that gambling will only be prohibited in the .de hotel.

If a server outside of Germany (e.g. .com hotel) is not following their laws I'm not sure but I reckon they could easily tell this outside server to abide by their new laws. "The new law will allow the states to order internet service providers to block the sites of betting operators and to prohibit banks from processing payments to these sites." From that quote seems to me like they can block sites that involve any type of gambling which includes habbo.com.
wasn't gambling banned on singapore hotel before? I was told that anyway lmao.
