First skill.

What is the best skills to level first. I want to create a main account and I have around 50m at the moment on it. I was thinking of getting atk str and def to 40-60 then doing something easy like cooking or runecrafting. Also, do doing the quests benefit me much? I cant be bothered doing quests lol.

More Quests Unlocked = Access to more places = Most of which can be used for cmb / skilling.

Firemaking / fletching is currently one of the easiest 99's to obtain.

yes, some quests have requirements like levels needed in certain skills to complete, also some quests require other quests to be done before you can do that one. Lastly some quests have hard boss fights so you'll need a good combat level for some quests.

Rune crafting isnt so easy, it takes forever as you get very little xp per hour :(

Get attack, strength and defence up first really just because it is helpful with most things. I personally like boosting magic because it's useful for teleporting, smithing and ranged damage. The easiest one to boost IMO is firemaking and smithing. You can just buy the materials and do the work.

Doing all the quests is very helpful in boosting your skills though because they provide XP.

If you want a quick 99 cooking is your best bet. Took me only like a week or so.
