I have an age old question that I never really knew he answer for.

Lets hear your opinions on it. When wearing a collared shirt, with a sweater over it. Do you think the collar should be put inside or outside of the sweater? I do both, depends on the shirt, but I wanted to hear your opinions.

I'd say probably what you said. Unless it's a turtle-neck, I always put the collar on the outside then.

I put the collar on the outside of the sweater. It looks better.

I have the same problem with my Navy uniform, I think if your collar isn't sitting right and its kind of curling under then I'd put it in. But I prefer to have it in, I think it looks a lot smarter.

It depends on the collar, obviously if it's a loose fabric one that's gonna curl or stick out then keep it in but generally with a stiff collared shirt you'd have it outside

As you said really, it very much depends on the shirt :P

I'd say out... Looks more casual than smart. Depends on the occasion I guess :-)

I tend to wear Oxford shirts so I wear it inside the jumper collar.

Exactly this. The collar can look good on the outside if it's the proper kind!
