Well, I just feel that those who have stayed, and left, aren't of public opinion, more who the producers believe to be worth keeping, to stir it up or to maximise viewing potential...

The public is influenced a hell of a lot because of the media, but if they weren't influenced then things would be failing.
It's all well people can sing, but too be a bully (which is clearly why you're arguing about this because you love Micha) is not fair. I'm sure tons of people could sing exactly like Micha, but they didn't get the change; yet they're not a bully.

I think people should find out about people's personalities because some people are picky (and they have every right to be) and wouldn't want to be spending money on someone who's a complete *****.

Okay, but even so. Many people would like to know the personality of the star before they go spending money on them as many people would prefer to buy things that go to people more deserving (her voice makes her deserve it, but not her attitude). I like the fact we get to see what they're like (can never tell though, could be acting for the camera).

Woo, I love all those guest performers! I'd love too see Pixie Lott on there, but that's just because I love her. I used to like Frankie (when he auditioned and in boot camp when he sang Iris) but he's gone down hill since. He's got an awful attitude towards the whole show and he really doesn't deserve the chance being there.

I think his Halloween performance was the best of the live shows for Frankie, but I still wasn't keen. God knows who's voting for him! :P

I wouldn't be surprised if Pixie got a performance slot, she was on that Red or Black show so Cowell obviously likes her. Then again her single is out this week and performers with new releases usually perform on the week their single is out so I doubt it...

Using that logic, I don't know why you like Janet as she's too similar to people like Ellie Goulding and Diana Vickers. And none of the others you mentioned really have very unique personalities or gimmicks really.

The beauty is the fact they don't have to do anything. The papers can pick up a story and change the opinions the public had on acts just like that while the x factor producers can watch it unfold. They like it, because it means they are talking about the show.

I couldn't believe what I read in the paper today. Apparently Frankie Cocozza met up with former x factor singer Amelia Lily and she ended up in tears when she caught him getting it off with a blonde, she saying she'd saw the good side he had.

Really I thought she would have known best. What is it with girls that see men that clearly play around, they clearly know it, but still think they stand a chance and go crying and act all shocked when something like this happens. I mean its as much the girls fault for her own stupidity really.

Also did anyone find the performance from Cher Lloyd a bit weird.

I also think it's pathetic for them to tell her she needs to do up-tempo for weeks and when she goes ahead and does it, they criticize her incredibly hard to the point of being quite rude. Gary is an abomination at the moment, he tries to be like Simon Cowell but is coming off incredibly rude and arrogant. I think Kelly is awful aswell and two of them constantly seem to be attempting to gang up on Tulisa.

I think they need to drop the bickering so much. Gary is rude to acts yet can't take the slightest criticism over his own acts. I think they should discuss all together to stop the arguing as it just looks crap. I much prefer Janet when she doesn't do up-tempo and just sticks to her style, but I still don't think she was awful.

I totally agree, Gary is trying to be the Simon. I really do like Kelly really, but I understand your point. Tulisa sometimes seems to be the only one that can keep her mouth shut and doesn't bicker which is nice.

The thing I liked about johnny is that he wasn't really in it to win it. He wasn't one of them annoying joke acts that puts on some worried face when he might go out or look upset when he did go out. That's the reason I kind of hate the x factor although I can't complain as I still watch it ha.

The problem is in the music business most people have a style and pick to it. Sometimes the x factor judges have complained about generic acts and so on, and make it out as if individualism is a good thing yet they then try to make them do every genre. A rock star should stick to what they like doing, rock music just as Janet has her own style. The important thing is its her style and that's what I liked, she wasn't trying to be like anyone else. While Kitty has grown a bit more on me, she does sometimes feel like she just wants to be the next Lady Gaga and what I really like is that Janet is simply just Janet.

I also wonder if any of the stuff about Kelly and Tulisa is simply just the producers trying to make it seem like there's a big rivalry to get more people watching to see if they snap. At times it felt uncomfortable but at times it can seem a bit forced, like they are playing up for the camera.

Kelly also annoyed me when he had a go about Louie saying don't tell people what they will never be (think it was about Frankie). Yet she had her mouth shut and didn't criticise Gary when he said just about the exact same thing about Sammy. Which makes me wonder even more if everyone is just putting an act on.

I hope Frankie goes soon and then at least we'll have some decent singers fighting.

Frankie seems to be the cat with 9 lives although he is not much different to Pete Doherty who can't sing either but has made a very successful career out of it! Shame about the Risk, though. Much as I liked Johnny I can't see him as a world wide star but he will always make a living now. I am enjoying American X Factor so much more I have to admit.

It was announced this morning that this weekend, one of the original four contestants that were booted out in the first week (Amelia, 2 Shoes, James and Jonjo) will go up for the public vote to win the chance to return to the show in order to replace Frankie. Who are you hoping for?

I want Amelia back. So much so, I'll be voting for her. And I've never voted for anyone on X Factor before :D

Losing Frankie and gaining Amelia is, in my opinion, the best thing to happen to the show this year!

If she continues to delay it, the promotional slot on X Factor will be a complete and utter waste. I think this is an absolutely SHOCKING idea, and they're going to get slated for it, so, SO bad.

I think it was a problem they couldn't dig out of. They probably would get complaints from people especially people paying for sponsorships if they didn't have the amount of slots and so on and then they'd probably have to refund.

Whoever they brought back be it the old ones or Johnny people would complain.

The truth is he should never have gotten through. Yeah he is nice and funny but I doubt he will succeed. The X Factor is a music competition and by letting people in who don't stand a chance it just makes it feel like a huge let down just to get ratings and makes me and I know others to, disrespect the show. I do think Louie Walsh is part of the problem - he was going to let Goldie through and she would have been on the live shows if she hadn't dropped out yet I can't think of many if any, that would go out and buy her album.

I can see exactly where you're coming from Rosie. I have always loved Kitty's voice, but I too have noticed that she seems quite unhinged. My evidence is her earlier performances (auditions and bootcamp) where she displayed really erratic behaviour which made for quite uncomfortable viewing to be completely honest. There must be a reason why this woman has had so many jobs in the last few years.

I watched some of her interviews after she left and seriously, she acted like not a **** was given. She had a good run at the competition, and I think it's really given her the boost she needed to get her music out there so well done to her! Oh yes, that performances was fabulous. I just sometimes think, why couldn't she have sang like that on all the live shows?! I know she's got it in her to find songs that suit her, so meh. Seems a little like a waste of her fantastic voice. :P

Agreed, back then there used to be great chemistry between the judges and it was really entertaining. Once the X-factor went really mainstream, they tried to pump up the show with the influx of money and just ruined it really.

I have no idea what Sharon has said to Dannii and I don't really care. It's a certain type of person that listens to Destiny's Child and it's a certain type of person that watches the X Factor. You can't assume the whole population knows who she is.

I think we'll have to agree to disagree about who is more famous, but I can guarantee that older generations (the large bulk of the population) know a lot more about Sharon Osbourne. Destiny's Child split and certain members *cough* Beyonce went on to do bigger and better things. Others end up tarnishing their image even further by "judging" on... the X Factor.. :P

I think you're forgetting that it was quite a few years ago when DC were around, I'm sure lots of the older generation have heard their music. Of course in every band there will be someone who is the most well known, but that doesn't mean Kelly isn't famous. She's certainly more famous than Sharon who had became famous from her father and husband. :P

Also, I didn't say everyone knows who Kelly is, but she's much more relevant than Sharon.
