Great game down at the Amex last night :) beat Sunderland 1 - 0 and to be honest we deserved it. Don't know why Sunderland didn't play Gyan until the second half of ET. Hoping for a nice home tie against one of the teams in Europe

Orient need to beat Bristol Rovers before we can really even think about the next round! Having said that I am never really bothered about the Carling Cup. Only really good for the smaller clubs if you can get massive teams away - extra games are not any use.

The Carling Cup is also known as The League Cup. Basically in England we have the FA Cup (cash prizes are bigger I think) and the League Cup :) just one of the three national competitions English teams can play in (excluding the leagues).

We got battered unfairly by bournemouth away 5 - 0 . Three of their goals all got deflected and we have a goal disallowed in the first 2 minutes! :( We never have any luck in the tinpot trophy.

That would be because you generally had 'poor' teams before the big guns - I would expect you and any other Championship club to give smaller teams a challenge.

I absolutely hate people talking about 'we would have won if this, that or something else didn't happen. At the end of the day you don't get 3 points or a ticket to the next round if you lose - no matter if you hit the post 5 million times or anything else.
