I came across THIS (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/newsnight/9572763.stm) on BBC News.

Personally if really pisses me off.
I don't mean to sound snobbish or stereotypical but I can tell that no doubt that was recorded mid-day when everyone else would be working. They seem rougher than muck.

It infuriates me that they're gloating on television about their actions. The long term ramifications for this is that people may think that now in our society it's acceptable to actively ruin and rampage in our own country!

For foreigners looking on I can only imagine their thoughts on England. I would be extremely surprised if it didn't affect your tourism (even in a small amount).

On a side note it still pisses me off that they were called british riots... where was wales, NI and scotland involved?
