There looks like there might be an interesting show on tonight - for anyone interested in virtual worlds. I believe Habbo, does qualify as a type of virtual world... perhaps closer to Webkinz than Second life (due to the 2D isometric projection)... and the targeted audience; but in the category, none the less.
Do many Habbo players, move onto Second Life? I kind of doubt it, because in many ways, Second Life can be just a heck of a lot creepier... Sure, it's indeed a powerful 3D environment, but it's also rather complex to uitlise at any "higher order" level, especially a creative one. A really nice thing about Second Life(SL) vs. Habbo, however, is that they freely let you create / design objects to sell and or use in the game! I wish Habbo would develop a module for this... even if they have to give approval to what you make, and or take a cut from the object created!
I'm going to record this Life 2.0 program. Might be interesting watch... might not.
