Basically I need a laptop for uni, I have 2 thats from like 2007 so I want a new one

Preferably cheapish as the only time I'll be using it is when I'm about uni most of time I'll be using desktop.

Needs to have a decent battery life, 3GB+ RAM, 320GB+ HDD and that's about it.

I was in same position as you, i bought this off ebay on friday, it was 20 quid cheaper for friday only, but it's still a great price. it has 4gb ram and 500gb hard drive, so is more than what you are looking for. Yet for that price, you could easily buy something not as good! Plus you get the free laptop bag which they claim is worth 70 quid!

sold over 700 in 3 days so can't be bad! £299.99

Fair point. But to be fair, Dell aint half that bad, and they have good support, i'd take the £80 saving to go with Dell!

The one I posted has USB 3.0 x 2 and for an extra 8 quid you can get a 500gb hard drive :D

Do it I say, I'm contemplating getting the 2720 for Christmas if there isn't a better one out by then
