Thank You. I will say this in another post later on but for now: I just want to thank everyone who has taken part in this years HxSS and want to thank every single person who has hosted events over the past 14 days to make this a success an without you, then this wouldn't of happened. Also a big thanks to everyone else who has worked in organising, scheduling and so on. I've had fun and it's been great!

As well as the people mentioned above, I'd also like to give my thanks to David for making some nice leaderboards and such, the graphics department for making a new array of signatures and avatars, the competitions department for supplying a set of competitions and any other department who just pitched in to make this the biggest event on Habbox of the year. Well done to you all. :)

yeah he cheated on the quest
held up an event for almost 20 minutes like he had some kind priority or something cos he's asst manager
and there were aload of events that never got announced which I'm pretty sure should of been?
He was too busy getting the most points that he didn't care that other people weren't being informed about some of the events

I don't actually know what your problem is. It wasn't really down to me to announce every single event, a lot of the people already had perms but must have forgotten, I only announced the events for the people who didn't have the perms and asked me. I also didn't cheat in the quest, I asked for help? and I didn't hold up any events unless someone was doing something they shouldn't have been doing. lol. I also think next year (if you're still here) you come to events with a better attitude and dont call events organisers stupid.
Thanks to everyone that helped out with HxSS!!

Where are you getting your information from? Cause as far as I know Cameron was a very good help in this HxSS Since he had step in as manager since Mathew hasn't been here, Its was not his priority to announce events it was down to the host (if the had perms) to do so. He only posted events if the host didn't have perms or ask for him to do it. And if the event your talking about is the quiz that was hosted on the last day he didn't hold it up for 20 minutes, it was because people in the room where being down right rude and just being silly! I also didn't see the rule about management not being allowed to try and gain the most points, he did care about people being told if events were on or not and he was the main person promoting them! So please complain again when you have a more valid argument.

Yeah asking for help really involves asking for the codeword so you don't have to do anything :L
And you held up bingo. You said you had to go sort some prizes out or whatever but decided to save yourself a seat and then come back almost 20 minutes later when finally the host decided to let someone else play. Maybe you were sleep walking if you can't remember doing that?
Also I thought you were meant to be temp manager while mathew was away? Shouldn't you be checking stuff like that and telling people who didn't make an announcement to not **** up again :S Or was your job just to make sure atleast you and a fair amount of the green team were at the event?
*ignores the little green team minions that are starting to approach*

I didn't ask for the codeword? I'm not sure where you got that from because it wasn't for any of the quests during HxSS and If you're talking about the Bingo event in Matt's room then it was hardly 20 minutes. The person who was hosting the event didn't have any furniture prizes so I offered to use some of my own furniture to give to the winner of the event. Unfortunately, when I went to go to my prize room and give the person their prize the room was full and I couldn't get back to the room where the event was. It wasn't like I didn't queue up for my place, because I did. I let someone take my place anyway.
Another thing which you mentioned about me being temp manager. Yes, I was the temp manager whilst Mathew was away. I also was booking each and adding each and every event the staff wanted to host during HxSS. Just like I said in my previous post, most of the people who were hosting the events already had the permissions to create their own announcement and if they didn't I would have made one myself if they asked. I think it's more important that the event was added to the panel and thread before anything else.

I'm not a minion thanks, I was telling you what I thought of your stupid comments off my own back and it wasn't fair that you were nit picking at Cameron. Cause most of them reasons weren't something to make a big song and dance about were they! And its not his fault the room was full when he tried to return to the room. It also wasn't Cameron's job to tell people to make announcements his job was to get the events in the schedule thread and to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. As for the thing about the quest i don't know whats happening on that front, but seriously there is no need to make silly little accusations about people when they are not profitable to anyone!

In all fairness Jurv, even if Stephen was telling the truth you could say no and everyone will believe you. It's something to do with being a Habbox manager, you're unable to do any wrongdoings :) One other point, if the events aren't announced by the EO themselves, isn't it your job to post it if they've forgotten, like as soon as you can notice? I mean really you should be checking that yourself shouldn't you, or better yet asking them whether they've posted it or not? Mind you, you were probably too busy playing the events to pay attention to that... Something that you can't deny there, but hey give me a giggle and try. :)
Also Stephen stop your trolling LOL you're terrible for it. Well done to everyone who got involved regardless, loads of effort does get put into it every year and well yeah I don't think people notice the half of what's actually done!

Yeah, you're right it is my job to remind them if they have forgotten to post the announcement and it's what I would have been doing if it hadn't have been during HxSS. I'm sure you know as well as many other people know that during HxSS things are a little hectic and a few things are forgotten, with the announcements being one of them. Most of the time events were being booked at the last minute which would leave me a couple of minutes to add them to the 3 different threads and to the panel on Habbox.com. This was also my first HxSS and obviously a few things went wrong but I'm sure I can improve on that if I'm here next year. :)

"If it hadn't been during hxss" So are you saying that the reason why you couldn't act like a proper manager was because you were too busy getting points to even think about your so called job in habbox's BIGGEST EVENT thingy of the year thingy
since when did anyone ever give a **** about announcements before. there was a comprehensively update events schedule, and when people WERE IN THE ROOM themselves why did they whine about an announcement.

No. If it hadn't of been during HxSS it wouldn't have been as hectic and I would've been able to sort this problem out quicker and easier. It's not like we had this problem from the start of the competition, it was the last couple of days when the announcements didnt seem to get posted as much. I was also still trying to get used to being in the role of a manager at the time.
also while i'm here: i would imagine if you wanna go complain about cam's conduct, or about hxss in general, go make a feedback thread.
this thread is thanking everyone.

This thread was created to say a big thanks to those who were involved with HxSS 2011, not to complain. It has now been ruined by people who are ganging up against Jurv due to some things he may or may not have done. This isn't the place or time for such posts and any future posts in this thread should be the sole purpose of thanking everyone who helped out this year. If not then the thread will be closed.

Big thanks to everyone who participated. Since Nvrspk got the ball rolling with HxSS several years ago it's been a big Habbox event every year and one other fansites have even tried to copy (but never succeeded as well of course). It's amazing every year seeing how eager Habbox staff are to host events, even when they're not part of the events department itself.
Thank you everyone! I think this year went extremely smoothly, thanks to everyone involved.
Congrats Cameron! :D

I appreciate what you're saying Calvin, which is the least I can do since telling people who are giving Jurv criticism to "get over it", shows that you don't appreciate what we're saying in the slightest. Not surprising from a guy who posts in this thread aiming to be condescending towards people who know what they're talking about, where you well... don't. :)
