Hey,
I'm pretty sure that someone will reply with something stupid like "tap water" or "all water is the same" so spare me the hilarious humour and post with something that contributes to the thread. I have been drinking deep riverrock for a while (because i get good deals) but recently i have been trying other water, riverrock makes me feel bloated and sick, i heard good things about "willow spring water" it's a little more expensive but if it helps my calcium and complexion it's better to pay that little bit more. I have only tried it for the first time today and it tastes great and so fresh, does anyone know if it's really worth that extra bit more or is there better water brands? Try link me to some if possible because they might not sell what you recommend in Ireland.
+Rep to any decent posts

I'm not sure if this counts but there's a brand called vitaminwater, it's 100% natural and comes in different flavours such as defence, revive, multi-v and a few others. I can't give a personal account of the taste as I've not tried it but I've made a note to get a bottle or two the next time I find myself in the drinks aisle in Tesco :)
To you asking whether it's worth it, I think if it's doing good things for you then there's no reason why you shouldn't pay a bit more. If I'm honest I'm sometimes drawn to the more expensive things in the supermarket because sometimes the cheap food seems a little too cheap to be entirely good for you.

vitaminwater has been proven to do nothing for you. it's just water and glucose (sugar).

Volvic or evian :) I drink tap water as its easier than spending money on bottled water when you can get it for free out a tap, all your paying for is the chemicals they add to it and what they have done to it! But if you think its gonna do something for you then pay money for it

I use the ancient old tradition of finding the water closest to you. Call it instinct if you will.
If I am near a tap, I will have tap water. If I'm near bottled water, I will have bottled water. Ocasionally, I fill a bottle with tap water to blow my mind further on in the day.
But for serious, I can't taste the difference.

I've never bought bottled water because I'm Scottish and our tap water is brilliant. I'd try something from the highlands such as Highland Springs though.

I usually pick out Highland Spring when I have the choice, it has this aftertaste I like. Like I've eaten a chunk of slightly salty mountain.
Otherwise water is water, does have to be cold though or I risk warmish-water disappointment :(
Tried VitaminWater and it tasted like someone dipped a fruit in some sugary water for 5 seconds.

If I have bottled water I always go with Evian, quite cheap for a big bottle which lasts me all day

This. Never drink bottled water, but if I do, it's always Highland spring.

Tap water because it has flouride etc etc in.
flouride is good for your teeth, not your body but even then it's debateable. i only drink tap water but if i drink bottled water i pick up whatever is there.... :S

I don't feel strongly about the issue, there is different tastes but they appeal to me as much as each other. We've a special water-filtering system in the kitchen which is connected to the main water supply but comes out a different tap, that's always nice and chilled so I drink that at home. Outside the home, if I want water, I'd just buy any bottle of water.
I have fond memories as a child drinking ice-cold Evian out of large glass bottles in French restaurants, that was bliss.

Lol bottled water.
Aside from the debatably small issue arising from Bisphenol A leeching into water from bottles (shown to be negligible), bottled water will also contain phthalates (xenoestrogens). Furthermore, bottled water is not of higher quality than tap water. In the UK our tap water is very hard, hard water contains more magnesium and calcium than soft water and most bottled water.
As for the fluoridation issue, many parts of the UK are lucky enough to not have fluoride added to their water supply without their consent. Ingested fluoride does nothing for the teeth or body beyond increasing aluminium build up in the brain which leads to neuro-degenerative diseases like Alzheimer's, or fluoride ions displacing calcium ions and leading to skeletal fluorosis (if anyone here studies chemistry in any depth they will know this as a substitution reaction). Some bottled water is fluoridated now too.
All in all I'd say you are drinking inferior water if you drink bottled water, if your water is fluoridated I would recommend removing it yourself with any of the numerous cheap solutions out there. Going for obttled water isn't worth it financially or physiologically. Obviously one bottle of water here or there isn't going to hurt.
