I have to say that is pretty fast and I sure can't wait to see what else Windows 8 can do! Although the laptop has EFI and not BIOS but the looks of things, I do assume there is improvements for computers who have a BIOS and no SSD hard drives as a number of computers were tested.

Woah, I blinked and missed something there :P If they can do this for any machine with Windows 8 then they're on to yet another winner. Can't wait for this to be released :P

Nice, I suspect it won't be possible on BIOS based machines though.
And off topic, but she reminds me of the girl from American Pie who talks about doing something dirty at band camp. LOL

I think there would be improvements for machines running BIOS, surely a couple of the computers in that graph have BIOS? :P
Wow, this is an improvement! I look forward to seeing this released

In what way, the way it boots up and shows you the new interface? Oh and got this from twitter (Tom Warren)
"So MSFT demoed Windows 8 startup on a EliteBook 8640p (Intel® Core™ i7-2620M, 8GB, 160GB SSD)"

It seems to be quicker loading Windows 8, not by a big amount but still!

I'd be upset if the Windows logo doesn't form when booting a PC. I'd have to slow it down or make the laptop wait until the Windows logo is completed for a few seconds before going to desktop :P
