Been playing for about five minutes, getting some lag spikes but the terrain is REALLY different.

Yeah I keep getting lag quite badly when it generates a new chunk. Biome code needs some work I reckon, just flew for about 5 mins in one direction on creative mode and didnt come across any land.. It's really nice though, found some amazing rivers and ravines already :D

They're not bothered by it really, they just didn't want to release it or label it "complete" or "ready" because otherwise people would complain that a beta release of a beta game is broken. Thank god we're getting nightlys from now on.

Oh man oh man it's so laggy when generating chunks... even on my beast of a rig >_<.... or it could be because CCC is forcing 8x AA lmao.

It's pretty good so far, I don't see why people have a problem with playing it early, if you paid for minecraft you're getting it free in a few days anyway, it's pretty stable as far as I've seen so far, a bit slow at loading new chunks but a lot of improvements are very clear just walking around the map.

Decided to give it a go. I love creative mode but it is a little laggy. :(
