HTML IMG help?

I'm not too sure where I should put this thread so sorry MODs :(

Anyways, I am using HTML for my 'fansite' yet the image isn't working at all, I have tried using three of the most popular web browsers still nothing, here is the code:

<center><b>Welcome to (Name removed just incase)*!</b><br />Version 1 is currently being made..<br /> Please come back later !!
</center><br /> <img src="http://habbogallery.net/img/figures/general/Black_002_w03.gif">

It seems like you can't link back to their website. Just save the image and change it to:


... <img src="imagename.gif" />

Hey thanks for the assistance but I fixed it, like Jonster said, the image URL wasn't given access to the public so I uploaded it to a image hosting website and just used that url.
