About 7 months ago my friend had trouble with this 21 year old woman, just name calling and stuff, and this woman took it really seriously, since then there was some trouble with her again, something to do with the 21 year olds sister, and she started threatening my friend, saying she's going to wait outside of school for her so they can 'talk' about it.
The next day after she threatened her she turned up, waiting outside of our school, with some sort of staffy dog, me, my friend and a few others saw her, knew it was her and walked away, then some people pointed my friend out to her.
She started running after her, then starting shouting and having ago at my friend, verbally abusing her.
Then the 21 year old woman starting getting real close to her all up in her face, then she started shoving my friend, then eventually ******* her, then they started having a fight and the woman was practically kicking my friends head in, then the dog started biting her, and ripping her clothes, in the end the woman ran off because of the huge crowd of people.

After all this happened my friend's mum rang the police and they didn't show up for like three days, when they eventually showed up they said they couldn't charge her with anything because my friend didn't have any marks on her face, even the rips in her clothes and all the witnesses weren't enough.
Don't have a clue what they could do, but surely they could do more than just give her a warning, my friend's 14, so it's attacking a minor?
just curious on what they should have done?

You want to send that higher, for such a heavy assault 3 days waiting is a ******* disgrace.

Her mother should have sent her to hospital though and the wounds would have pictures taken of them, obviously because hospitals take bad wounds seriously especially on young children.

she didn't have any marks though, she hardly ever marks when something happens to her, the only injuries she got were a bust lip, barley visable and sprained ankle.
I don't see why they couldn't even ask for witnesses, and why wouldn't they be able to press charges because of no visible injuries?:S plus the woman who did it, has disapeared from her house and today has started threatening my friend again?
Honestly don't know why her mum hasn't followed up on it!

Surely they could charge her on threats alone?

she should have went straight to the police with witnesses instead of getting her mum to call.
i got assaulted a month ago & went straight to the police without the witnesses. they took a statement that night along with pictures of my marks, took me home then came back the day after and took another statement. i haven't heard from that policemen again and they didn't get witness statements for a week...... i also got a letter from victim support, if she got any letters from them i'd suggest ringing them to see what they say. it's been a month n i only got a letter from the police to say my assault is being 'dealt with' the other week  but yeah i dunno, it's been 7 months she really should have got it sorted long long ago

A crowd of eye witnesses

Torn clothes

You said a dog bit her? A dog bite always leaves marks, even a dogs paw leaves visible scars, everyone marks.

Threats aren't happening to face, so there will be text proof, or private message proof from FB or phone.

Your school may have possible cctv of her on site, which is evidential.

If they didn't figure all of this out themselves then in my eyes, it sounds full of **** or over reacted, because being kicked in the head would leave some pretty ******* visible marks.

Wow, thats like bang out of order! and waiting 3 days is pretty ****** up! If they police wont do anything then I don't really see anything that can be done, I guess stay away from her if anything! I hope your friends okay and.. that dog shouldn't be biting people they can get their pets taken off them for that.
