3rd round.. who do you have?
have you been knocked out already and if so, who by?

We have Manchester United at home.. such a good old rivalry and an old great premier league fixture (Surely it will be back sooner).

A poor team?

Lindegaard, was #1 at his last club, plays for Denmark.
Amos, 21, needs gametime, ideal opportunity(also plays for England u21).
Fabio, 21, needs gametime. Played for United 17 times and Brazil u17.
Jones, 19, Utds future. Played superb this season.
Evans, 23, again Utds future. Plays for N.Ireland.
Giggs, Park, Carrick, Fletcher, Valencia, Owen, Berbatov. Don't need explaining.
Macheda, 20, the future. Played for Sampdoria, and represents Italy.
Diouf, 23, played for Blackburn so has premier league pedigree. Plays for Senegal.

Don't know much about Pogba, but he is registered for the first squad for the current season.
Keane, James, Brown, Keane, Thrope and fryers must be the youth team.

How you can say this is a poor team is beyond me.

For the record, I'm not a United fan.

to be fair, united played on sunday so he was never going to play a great team
they also have champions league next week, and the midfield and attack are still a decent premiership outfit
i hope grayson rests some players because as much as i'd like to win, i'd much rather lose 10-0 and get back to the premiership
we have brighton on friday so i think he should definitely rest some of the players who played the full 90 on saturday, although it'll be tough for him to convince them it's the best idea...
i predict a comfortable win for united, unless grayson goes with a strong team, then we could have an interesting game

Yeah, pretty much agreed with that.

Not sure how grayson will see this one for you lot. Leeds still see United as rivals, and the fans will want to put one over on them no matter what the competition, but I think Grayson will care more for the league, and like you said Brighton on friday...

Also, didnt' realise the amount of Leeds fans on here haha!

You don't have a clue.

I'm excited to see what these youths have to offer. I'm especially excited to see Pogba on the squad sheet as he has long been hailed the next future start of Manchester United both by Alex Ferguson and his teammates. He has a slight injury, which is disappointing, but I doubt it'll hinder him much.

I assume Leeds will walk over United then.

Liverpool put out a very strong side in the round before against Exeter, so quite possibly.

liverpool also don't have any european fixtures this season so they can afford to try out new tactics with big players in the cups
i also heard gerrard will be back
i also hope poyet plays his best team so they're tired for friday

i think a few players didn't do themselves any harm, in particular i think clayton and mccormack both started brightly, but as i predicted from the start, if united scored first, we were always going to lose convincingly
defensively we can't even handle championship teams so we were always going to struggle against a (good) second string manchester united team
i thought giggs bossed the game, well the first half, and owen took his chances well, despite the scuffed effort
second half was just boring to watch from everyone's perspective, we kinda gave up and grayson was already looking to the brighton game, which i don't blame him for, and fergie knew his side's first half performance was enough to see them home

Lost 2 - 1 at home to Liverpool, but we proved that we can do well against a strongish Liverpool side. Great atmosphere down the Amex too :)
