facebook, calm the **** down please. Google+ hasn't got **** on you, so you can stop desperately updating yourself every other day to try and keep up. you are fine as you are!

That ticker really does annoy me so I blocked it off the page mwashahah I really hate the new set out for the new stories ;l

the only thing that's annoying me is the thing constantly moving that's on top of chat
and everyone complaining about the new facebook so then it makes my creeping harder. ugh.

I like the thing when you can choose what you want to see like all the updates or only the important things

I hate how it shows on my news feed when someone likes another friends photo. Really, why would I be interested or care in the slightest about seeing someone 'like' another Facebook users profile?
Seems stupid and unnecessary to me.

It's not too bad, will take some getting used to. But i do love the birthday thing, if you click "It's ____'s Birthday!" then you can easily put a wall post! Yay! Now to fix the BB app please...

Google+ is seeming a thousand times better than Facebook right about now. Facebook is a total mess, much like Myspace was before it turned crap, but obviously it won't go the same way :P The Facebook designers should really consider using their brains and thinking of the best way to map a layout, because at the moment it seems they're acting on the superiorities of Google+ and Twitter, without properly integrating them. It's a shame most of my friends are on Facebook, because if they could be persuaded to Google+, I'd be using that instead.

I think the problem is simply feedback. Facebook needs to think of an idea, then put it in beta, see if it works, if not try something new. Instead what they do is just take a feature they like and give it to the world even if they hate it.

But still, I've always thought Google+ gets more praise than it deserves and I'm sure the person on the news last night, talking about Google, was a Google representative, who said they where having big problems getting into the social network market and fighting off Facebook.

Also is there anything similar to Facebook Pages on Google+?

Facebook pages in terms for businesses etc? Business profiles are coming to Google+

Oh and according to an article these changes aren't the end, there is more on the way! I'm going to start using G+ more than just leaving facebook open for any messages and so on.

See Facebook is a tried and tested method when it comes to business and I wonder if Google+ will be as successful. When it does roll out a pages alternative, I wonder what Facebook will be rolling out to counter it.

Umm, nothing? Pages are on Facebook, they do not need to counter it :P Plus most Facebook pages are useless, you get better information straight from the proverbial horses mouth.

Also, I don't see why they've designed it so you now have two thumbnail pictures of your display pic (top right, and under the Facebook Logo)... But I guess the real changes come today when they roll out their new design, rather than the few bits they've done over the past week. Is it me or is the top bar slowly becoming Google+/Gmail/Google-esque?

I don't like the live stream thing above the chat, or the new layout on the homepage where you can't choose from most recent/most popular.

Why would you ever remove a chronological order of anything?! I'm not one to moan at Facebook updates, as most of the time they are for the best. But my god, how stupid must you be to let this happen? I don't want Facebook to control what I see, let my friends do that and give it to me in a chronological order. Also, why put a mini-feed on the chat bar? The chat bar is bad enough not showing all online friends, doesn't need more clutter.

I really think these developers have lost the plot trying to make 1000+ changes just to compete with Google, I can see a MySpace situation forming here.

On the other hand, the new profiles on the link Matt gave look quite funky. Will take some getting used to, but I can live with that.
