R.E.M. Split

Was quite suprised when on the BBC News website to see that the long time band R.E.M. has decided to split.

I haven't heard any of their new stuff fully, although have been meaning to, but they have a lot of old songs I really like.

Michael Stripe certainty has a way with words. It's a shame, because it seems to me all the people who really made music, proper music, seem to be disappearing.

It depends what you'd class as pop. I mean the pop today is a lot different to the pop in the past, so in a sense its kind of alternative now, well I think ha.
