Shall I buy it, I will be using it to stream all things from my iTunes and from my iPhone to it such as movies and music. Plus I would use the built in features too.

AGREED. I bought an Apple TV and the user interface is stunning, remote control using my iPad, iPhone and iMac is excellent, in simplicity it is spectacular.

It only plays mp4 videos. This is totally stupid and Boxee or even a computer with XBMC is a better alternative in my opinion.

But as I said, the Boxee is alot more then the AppleTV. I only want it to be using AirPlay really.

Do you necessarily need an AppleTV for that? I'm sure there must be streaming options available between PCs and devices that could use iTunes.

You seem pretty set on buying it so it's pretty pointless making a thread to ask for permission to buy one, your mind is made up already.

If you could find some, that would be awsome!

But evidently you don't want to listen to those views :P You know what you want, so buy it!

Why not just connect your iPhone to your TV to a HDMI port and stream of that?

Decided not to buy it as of yet.
