Hi, sorry first of all if in wrong place... But whenever i send a reply on my mobile it keeps telling me that i need to enter more than 6 characters... But i am doing ... Just wondering if anything can be done! Thanks :)

i posted this a few days ago in bugs and got the answer "we're aware of this". dunno if it's being fixed or whatever?

It will be either fixed or replaced. I know how annoying it is as I use it on a daily basis also, I'll get you an update on it soon.

Yeahhhhh I PMed Dave days ago but got no reply. :P Just go into Advanced Mode and it works fine, it's just the Quick Reply that messes up for me! :)

I've another mobile problem now... May not only be me... Anyway i cant change my theme to mobile v2 or anything and it just stays as the summer theme... Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem...?

Whilst on the mobile skin (v2) and go into a forum and click Go to Subforums it reloads me to the index.

Could you folks with problems post which phones you have whilst experiencing these problems, and if they still occur even when you try the mobile skin on your PC?

For instance, me:

iPhone 4
Functioning fine

I have a LG GT540 Optimus, and when I change to the mobile skin on my computer it works fine just not on my phone :S

But I disabled the mobile device detection setting in the User CP and it loaded the mobile skin, then I enabled it again and refreshed the page on my phone and the summer skin came back.

When you say it loaded the mobile skin, did it load the new one (picture (http://davzy.com/screenshots/Screen_Shot_2011-09-26_at_12.05.40_AM-20110926-000622.png)) or did it load something that looked different?

I've now completely disabled the old mobile skin in hopes that it might possibly fix the problem with mobile detection - is it working for you on your Android device now?

I preferred the old one, sadly.

I just can't get to grips with the new buttons as they are quite unclear as to what they do (a random line to show there's a new notification instead of it popping up as a bar... :S).
Then I tried to reply to a PM but I can't scroll past the quoted message to the end of the PM because the text box is too small... so it just scrolls the whole page instead.
Then I thought I'd browse some threads, but I couldn't see who the last to reply was. You can't go to the "last" page on a thread without going back to the main forum and clicking the arrow.
I found it was a long, round-about way to "view conversation" too (I can't remember how I did it but it took a while)! :P

I also prefer the old one by far!

I've tried to change to the classic skin or any other by clicking 'Full Site', but only links me to 404 - Not Found error! :P I can't seem to use it at all, since I couldn't change pages or anything (or it's just my awful technology skills :P).

I can only see the first page of threads now so don't know what people have posted but my skin on iphone 4 is totally messed up and it errors when clicking full site.

Okay WOOSAH on the mobile skin :D.

A lot of issues being faced is because of a few conflicts which are occurring with the little Habbox Hamsters. Me and David are working on it and we will get back to you shortly :P.

Update: Full site redirection in V2 fixed.

Not a bug it redirects to our forum default.

Its working alot better now. I can see other pages bar the first of threads. Wewp. Can't edit posts though, click spoiler tags or see online members list. Also would it be possible to knock of thr mobile skin and just view the normal forum skins

this really. having tonnes of problems with the new mobile skin, and on sunday it just diverted back to the site skin, which ran absolutely fine on my iphone. but whenever i click "view main site" it just loops back to mobile, even with the mobile detection thing off in usercp.

I'm curious as to why it was changed when there was pretty much nothing wrong with the original one? Would it be possible to have both?

There was a problem, the editor was causing issues. I don't know why you didn't have the problem but the actual problem was when the new editor came with the update it ruined the mobile skin. I believe the problems were that you couldn't type anything into the text field, the buttons didn't always load in the correct place and there was no way to get into "Advanced Mode" and so on.

I believe we are still working on the mobile skin, but we do appreciate you for reporting any problems with it.

Yeah that but on my device I had no option to go into the advanced mode to even see if I could type. So not sure what was happening there!
