Weird?

So i'm not sure if you think this is weird but ill start. I dont like going outside... i dont mind if i have things to do, but i mean in my spare time i really dislike going outside, if people ask me to go out i just say no. Maybe its to do with where i live, not really sure. But i've been like this for around 2 years now, im 21. and i work, i dont mind going to work and that doesnt bother me that i have to go out to work, it's just mainly the spare time and such.

I've had bad things happen to me in the past im not sure if this has anything to do with it ;s

Can't be worse than being unable to say most peoples names to them (lol I am odd), but tbh I think it depends. What are you asked to do? I mean, are you just not interested in what you were invited too, or are you tired or literally you just cba no matter what it is? If it's the last one, you should just try and make an effort and eventually you may come to enjoy going out more often.

It may be a cba kind of thing, in which case you should just think 'what have i got to lose', go out and then see what it's like.

I think the first thing you need to note with this is that you are definitely not alone. I think you will actually be surprised to find the amount of people who are your age or similair and have not so different issues.

I think you need to try and figure out when you first began feeling like this? Has this type of problem always been an issue for you or is it something new of late? Has playing habbo / posting on Habbox forum made it worse as you have more of a reason to be on here?

I think particularly users of Habbo Hotel have found many of them are very quickly addicted and struggle to get out of the lifecycle of playing the game a lot. I was like this myself at one point.

However the fact you have actually posted here shows that you clearly have a desire to try and change and become more social. Why not just say yes the next time they ask you out? As awkward or weird as you may feel - just go for it!

I think it could be a social problem I would maybe go and speak to someone about it. It could also be a lack of confidence maybe?

I kind of have this too, I just find the kind of things I end up doing with people really boring, and they all seem to really enjoy it. They're all quite happy doing the same things at every single opportunity, but I'm so so done with it. Alot of the time I just don't want to be around any of them aswell, they just do my head in.

and to the person who said its probs because i play Habbo, i only go on Habbo at around 5/6pm for an hour, so i doubt its anything to do with Habbo. and i dont think people are reading correct, i do go out, when i have work, or if my mum wants me to do something, but other than that i dont like going out.

Well I don't think it is a problem then as long as you are happy about the situation.

I'm fairly quiet and like my own company often, but if I do end up going out I usually can't wait to get it over with until I actually meet with people... then I have a really good time, you should just say yes :P
