However good this may sound, being able to create your own pets and furniture will really kill Habbo:(

Knowing some people..the furniture 'shapes' they'll make won't exactly please Habbo.
If this does mean you can make custom pets and furniture, it's going to be extremely expensive xL
This also might sound like a dumb question...but what exactly are guilds? Are they just groups? I never knew... Haven't played runescape either, so I can't find out via runescape.

Creating your own pets and furniture could possibly just mean buying them in your own choice of colour? I can't see how you'd actually be able to create your own furniture/pets from scratch :P.
ermmmmm this sounds interesting but so weird at the same time. i like the idea of making furni/pets but i don't at the same time.
I like the idea but won't people take advantage of it?

I don't really see how it could work, but who knows :P

I like the idea and dislike the idea:S:S:S
There was an article on their facebook about guilds... how users in it can make a room sharing their furniture and having a guild badge on your info stand and stuff. Not fussed on it.
Well, picking out the small things - there's a saddle up there, meaning there could be a chance of riding horses, if they do eventually come?
The guilds look like they're going to be VIP - I don't know why they're bringing this out, but y'know.

This is awkward, don't know if this would be good or bad or how it could possibly work out, we'll just have to wait and see. :S
Michael.
if habbo start letting people make their own furniture won't that affect values and stuff?

if habbo start letting people make their own furniture won't that affect values and stuff? It could but then it depends on how this system will work if implemented.
This was posted on the Habbo facebook about a month ago:
I’ve been playing a lot of Minecraft during the summer and it hit me that we might be lacking something quite important in Habbo. In Minecraft it ‘s very easy and natural to create and build spaces together and to help out if someone needs something in terms of resources. Together with your best friend or with a group of Minecraft nerds, you can build fantastic spaces and incredible buildings.
I know, Habbo is not Minecraft, but could there be something for Habbo in this concept:
In-game groups/guilds with co-op decoration and other perks?
We’ve been thinking about this a lot and now I would love to hear if you would be interested in this kind of feature, what you would like to have in it, and what issues you think we should take into account when designing it.
In the .com User Voice channel, room rights have been on the top of your wish list for a long time. One idea is that you should be able to give rights to your friends more easily and to have 2 levels in room rights: decorative rights and hosting rights.
In addition to basic room rights improvements, with guild concept you could create groups inside the client, design the groups badge and pick team colors for your group. You can set up abase room to your group and decorate it together with the group members. Everyone can drop furniture to the group base, but they will keep ownership of the furniture they’ve added to the base and can pick it up later (a bit like with the web group stickers). The member deco mode can be turned on/ off by the room owner. This would become handy for example, in ready made spaces like restaurants and hospitals where members can work but it makes no sense to change the room looks.
To customize the group the badge editor will get new images and the in-game badge will be shown in users info stand. Colors and badges will also be used to customize group furniture that group members can buy. We're thinking of flags, teleports, furniture, and later on perhaps even clothing such as group hoodies or T-shirts.
What happens to Web groups?
You can keep all your existing web groups, but we‘re hoping you can get more out of Habbo with in-game groups and doing things together in the game. We will be highlighting the in-game groups more in the future and some web features might be going away too; if we create new things, we also have to drop features that are not so popular anymore. For example, in future you might not be able to create groups that are limited to the web anymore.
We can’t wait to hear what you think about this! Please let us know your ideas, comments and concerns!

"Colors and badges will also be used to customize group furniture that group members can buy" - to me, that just sounds like there'll be a range of generic furni which can be customized with different colours / designs but we'll see.
Personally I think it sounds quite interesting & will be really useful for some rp rooms, should be good :)
It could but then it depends on how this system will work if implemented.
like if there were indefinite variations for furni how would we be able to track them all?
hopefully it is just colour variations though.

well that's the OP kinda insinuated with his post, but i think the facebook info roxy posted is a little more accurate.
I think it will be okay but I bet you can't trade the furni you make! will be probably worthless anyway.

Don't like the idea.
Takes away habbo's uniqueness.
Also how on earth do they implement such a system, I can only assume it's colour variations.

Someone mentioned customized badges, that I'd like if it was like the " Habbo Staff " badges.. be handy for some aspects of the hotel!

If you could create your own furniture , wouldnt it go a bit out of hand.. People can make like huge furniture.. or diry things. ya know what i mean.. I think its a good idea but at the same time it might ruin habbo MORE.

Not to sure about this, we'll have to wait and see what actually happens but creating pet's would not be good.

If they are available in the catalog, being able to buy them would be pointless - not to mention it would ruin the market.

was wondering what more crap was going to happen to habbo -.-

I think its going to be like runescape, where you get flags and you can put your badge on the flag and other furni.
The above poster just said what I was about to say, being able to put your own badges on things and stuff. The badges element will especially fit with the guilds if they come out too. I Imagine it will be a creation process like this
1) Choose base furni (Chair, table poster) etc
2)Add handles/borders/stones/badges etc
3) buy
I cant imagine it would be a from scratch process, as second life (adult habbo where moonglowgirl now hangs out) is where users make real money from making things completely from scratch with special programs and most people on there cant do that successfully.
Tbh, If it takes off and the items are tradable I think it will be a welcome addition to shake up the tired rares/desirables market.

Kill it? It died years ago.

As above said, when it was uk alone i think it occationaly reached the 10-12k mark :P
I think all the new features have just over complicated a really lovley simple game.

Habbo's users don't seem to be rising though,
joined with facebook = no rise
released lost monkey = no rise

just bringing back a purse with flies in when it's empty would raise the online count to 10k. Please no more :'(
Tbh how it is now I don't think it's even habbo anymore because they've removed every part of habbo from it

Just a few days ago there were 15k though...
basically proves that habbo is not 'dead'
