Most of you all have noticed that on the habbohotel.co.uk home page is a Jamster advertisement...
As it shows in the picture it asks you to put in your mobile number to recieve ring tones etc... but is this right?
Considering the ammount of keyloggers there are in the hotel, if someone enters their telephone number while being keylogged their number could be plastered around websites and people could prank that person.
What are your views?

Its habbo's choice to put the advert on the homepage - ist incresing teh risk of scamming and its more serious than any habbo's pass its your private details.

Not sure but i think that habbo should think about the risks involve... if this means not advertising Jamster then they shouldnt... since we are spending money on creds on habbo i think we are entitled to safty... i wnt buy ringtones anyway but others might.

I wouldnt really like to get pranked on my mob an deal with that hassle... you could just get a new sim card but then you have to give out your number etc... and message evry1 with new 1 it gets tiring

Habbo shouldnt be doing this. In the Habbo Way it tells you not to give out your Phone number to anyone, Surely this would apply to the whole of their site.

But as i read earlier, its Habbo's choice to have it on there, but im not sure if its right for habbo to be going back on their own words

Habbo will just say 'It's your fault if your keylogged, not ours'.

I see your point but I've ordered ringtones before online and I've never had a problem.

You type in your number and they send you the ring tone in an attachment.

I think its a bit over reacting that the homepage is also a logger but I guess if you dont find it safe then dont use it.

Maybe is abit over reacting but thats what i think, i think sulake only wants to make money... they dont care if a habbo gets hacked its only 1 in 9000 or so to them... but if a habbo gets scammed they could loose all there furni they have bought...
I cant even estimate how much i have spent ... i'm on like my 28th month of habbo club (one month is £2.50) and i bought millions of creds throuh-out my like 3 year stay on habbo.
