Wooo great updates this week! Loving the posting stats! I think it is a nice subtle way of giving incentive to post and also to reward those who have posted a lot over a period of time. A nice fun addition that is actually really useful!

I do rather like the "members that have been online 24 hours" addition too since its nice to have that figure and to be able to click on people's name instead of searching for it haha!

The halloween skin is awesome in my opinion, so well done everyone who helped make it and especially david! :D

The Top Posters feature is actually really good indeed. It would be nice if it created some competition and increased posting too! :)

Ooh, top posters is a good idea. Not sure about the members online in the past 24 hours but it doesn't bother me either. Halloween skin looks absolutely fantastic and if I'm looking at it properly, a sign of things to come, David?

What makes me sad is that there's been an amazing new skin in development since I was AGM, although it can't be forgotten that projects take time I think there should have been a new skin out this summer.

I think what you forget sometimes is that Habbox is not a business. It is run purely by volunteers who come on here to chill and have fun not to get stressed out. There are a lot of extremely dedicated and hardworking volunteers without whom Habbox would be nowhere near as good as it is. Whatever these people contribute should be congratulated. :)

It has not been forgotten, the problem with the idea was that this would put a heavy strain on our poor forum server, so when I do write this it'l require a little cache based tinkering to make it play nicely, but still fairly report on post counts.

It's not forgotten at all and the people who work hard are congratulated tremendously, however HabboxForum hasn't had a non-themed new skin created since March 2010. The site skin is very out of date and was planned to be replaced, it should have been. It's not the work of the people I am criticising I guess it's the priorities and orders in which work is done, in my eyes important things such as the merge of Habbox and HabboxLive and a site skin to match v6 have been put back over other projects when they shouldn't have been.

Well there has not been any members up in arms about, posting threads demanding one, Oli so I guess it is not one of their top priorities either unlike the problems with the downtime. Maybe what is important to you personally is not necessarily what is important to others. :P

The Halloween skin was one of two skins I created recently. You just cannot see the other one.

Well there has not been any members up in arms about, posting threads demanding one, Oli so I guess it is not one of their top priorities either unlike the problems with the downtime. :P

The downtime was an issue, but in theory these things should have happened before the downtime. These aren't things that members will get up in arms about, it's things that as they take that little longer they will have less of an impact. V6 is the prime example, whether it was "late" or not is irrelevant, the term "V6" was circulating the forums for nearly a year before V6 appeared, the hype about V6 had died down and it didn't get the reaction it would have got if it was released during the hype, in my opinion. General Management announced in feedback in February/March time that Habbox and HabboxLive would be merged, if this had happened in May/June while HabboxLive averaged at 80-100 listeners it would have had a much better impact than now when HabboxLive averages at 30-50.

Similarly with the forum skin, other forums have far more advanced skins than Habbox who are stuck with the boring, extremely simple templates Jamesy created when we moved to vB4 in March 2011. If you look at the seasonal, temporary skins David has produced, Easter, Halloween they are the best skins this forum has ever seen (in my opinion the best skins a Habbo fansite has ever seen) and if this forum had a permanent skin of that quality the face-value of Habbox would be much better, if I ventured onto the fansite page as a Habbo new to fansites and saw HFFM forum and then this one HFFM looks much more professional, this looks outdated and old fashioned - quite like the situation with Habbox.com before V6.

You may think I am just being critical of new management - I'm not, these things are things I highlighted as issues when I was General Manager it's just a shame they haven't been approached as the sooner as they are the sooner Habbox could get back on the upper foot against other fansites, I actually think it may even be too late for HabboxLive now.

Recently the Members that have logged in with the past 24 hours widget was added. And recently we have also had our record in people logging on(unless all past records have been erased, if that is the case then forget this thread), and it keeps on going up, Congrats to Habbox staff for getting more members on the forum!

Thread merged by Infectious (Forum Super Moderator): As there is already thread for you to discuss this weeks updates.

Most users ever online was 819, 11-07-2008 at 07:41 PM.

Obviously including guests, but still a higher figure.

Only just seen the users online over 24 hours..

Nice feature - I could never work out if we had many more users who are online on average - clearly the statistic shows we do still get a decent amount of people online over 24 hours.

Nice :)

Did the reputation bar change again after being changed?
I don't really like the rep bar change. Others, I quite like it. :)
