LissenFm - Online Radio Station

[LissenFM]

Hello.

Im Ashley the Manager of lissenfm.

I used to have an account on here as DJ_Unknown but i cant access my old email to reset the password :'(

Anyway lissenFM has been running for around 2 years until about 2 month ago when we closed to redo the site and because of a few management problems.

Well now we're back and better than ever.

We are currently looking for DJ's and presenters if your interested please drop me a PM.

Thanks. We decided with LissenFM due its reference to a user Listening. But we decided Lissen looked different but in a good way to "listen"

One thing. The title has FM in it. If it's not a studio based type Radio, then people from other net radio stations.. will come by and be like.. HA! this aint no FM radio...

I never noticed this, but I do agree, why is it called LissenFM if it's an internet radio?

We currently do have a studio which can be used by our radio team. its located in manchester and has about £3,000 worth of kit installed

I think it's a habbo based radio and your listeners aren't really going to be bothered too much about whether or not it actually is an FM station.

we are in no way a habbo radio station.

we are only using habbo sites as a form of advertisements as from previous experience some "Habbo Dj's" are actually quite talented and with millions of members on habbo it gives us a audience in which we can target quite easily

this is where the misconception comes. A DJ is stereotyped to someone who plays in a club uses decks or some other sort or DJ equipment. I've met multiple members of the 'Habbo Community' that use DJ software such as Serato,Traktor or Virtual DJ. A DJ is someone who brings their own individuality into what they play. A presenter is TOLD what to play. how many stations TELL them every song to play.

A DJ also says what THEY want to say a presenter is TOLD what to say.

this isnt a wordpress theme.. we are not using wordpress and currently have no plans of doing so.
