BF3, MW3 OR BOTH?

General question..

Are you getting; Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3 or BOTH?

Also are you pre ordering them, or waiting for the games to be released? Post below/vote in the poll :)

Just MW3 for the time being, which I have on preorder from game! I couldn't really get into the beta of BF3 and I'm not really fussed about it tbh.

Next friday! If you're getting it through Origin then you wont have to worry about pre-orders. xD

Yeah 28th I think - pre-ordered mine a couple of hours back, as well as a new mouse and keyboard :)

Can't decide whether to go for COD too :S

Preordered BF3 and MW3. I'm only really buying MW3 for the story and spec ops, multiplayer is nothing to be excited for and BF3 is more for multiplayer, but I also wanna do the co-op too. I wish EA didn't go head on against MW3 so I could have a decent month or so playtime before MW3 (and uncharted 3 for that matter).

Was going to change my order to PS3 if it had split screen (by co-op I meant split screen) - loved playing the campaign on Killzone 3 with a mate.

Will keep the pre-order as pc then :D

You should do what was suggested an preorder, as then there is also the chance of a day early (unless you preordered games before and never got a day early). Well a beauty for me is that I live near a GAME warehouse so preorder is always the better option in my experience. Also why are you referring to wednesday? It's out on tuesday so surely you'd be queing on monday?

never pre-ordered in my life... all my friends tell me they get it a day late or the delivery isn't on time... the Facebook status's say it all :L & i swear it's release date is the 8th?

Sadly what could be considered a bonus, is also a burden for PC gamers. Due to the game being on PC it is so easy to go from a game to work - having said that, I guess in many respects that is good, as you can fit in a sneaky game between work.. haha

Sorted accepted that as a PC gamer, due to the lack of friends who play on PC, personally I am fine with it though - happy to game either way haha

Same. I only know one person who plays PC games, but he mostly plays console.

Your best bet is to join a clan or something. It's mostly boring playing alone.

Yeah I have one friend (no "funny edits please..") who plays PC games, however bought an xBox last year and now plays that as well - he is getting BF3 on PC and COD on xbox unless they announced dedicated ranked servers on PC. I looked at joining a clan but didn't get in to it (10 hours online time, compared to 150 odd on MW2..) due to my keyboard. However, will look to get in to a clan for BF3/MW3 - recommendations where to find a clan..?

Personally, I will be active once BF3 comes out - although until then obviously I won't be at all active. Shame about the COD thing, having said that, no one needs to know.. :L Just would like to find a clan after spending so long trying to find one for Black Ops when it first came out.

How does a keyboard affect performance? Seriously I don't understand how 1 keyboard is different to another apart from wired/wireless and key ghosting (I think that's what it is called anyway).

Ghosting and wired. Answered that yourself.

Basically, my previous keyboard was wireless and was crap for gaming due to the wireless receiver not being great - i would press a button and it would ignore that I pressed it.

Technically there is other stuff but not so important..

I know I should play Battlefield, but honestly I pre-ordered Modern Warfare 3 and that's all I'll be playing for the foreseeable future.

Although battlefield 3 and MW3 are two completely kind of games (Arena matches vs huge battlefield) i prefer battlefield 3. I like war games with huge maps, vehicles and objectives. Battlefield 3 is perfect for it, although i still love playing battlefield 2 for PC, one of the best shooters to date in my opinion. Graphics aren't so appealing to the eye, but thegame playis. My favorite Call of duty game is MW1, it was pretty decent.

Yeah they're different games, all about opinion really. Survival mode looks cool by the way.
