This series just started in AUS, its about 4 episodes in.
The Earth getting destroyed with over population and pollution.
Then they find a hole in time and manage to send a probe, make a 'Stargate'(Yes it looks like one) and send people back in time to colonise on Earth, in prehistoric times.

The first two episodes were meh, and it got worse after that.
CGI Sucks
I think the only thing that makes it watchable is Stephen Lang.

I don't like it very much, not worth all the hype. The only saving grace is the eye candy, Skye and Maddy.

Theres something odd about this show lol. I sorta dont like it, but like watching it? I guess its something very different to what were usually offered on the TV, so that has a certain attraction. Every episode just appears to be completely random, and it feels like its going to take the whole series to find out why Taylor is 'bad'. Why didnt Mira just tell Jim when she had him captive in the most recent episode?

I'm thinking its heading in the same direction as LOST, there doesn't seem to be much going on at all.
I'll continue to watch and see if it leads anywhere.

Usually I can tell if I like a series or not. When it comes to Terra Nova, I'm not sure. This has all the sci-fi and cool elements I usually like, but it tends to leave something to be desired, and I'm not sure what. Maybe the acting isn't all that, or maybe I just need some more story to get hooked.
I'm not done with it yet. There are a lot of times I enjoy it. There are other more consistently good shows out there though, so if time only allows you to follow so many shows, I'd look elsewhere for a show.
Edit: Mira is hot as sin. That is all.

I'll be watching it as I have time now,
Though there needs to be something more to keep me captivated. I agree that it is missing something, just don't know what it is.
