The first season was great, although it did go downhill. The feature-length pilot is the best pilot I've ever seen.

I've had press assess to the first episode of the new season for a week but haven't found the time to watch it. Will have to catch up next week.

Anyway 'The walking dead' is an excellent tv series. Although the storyline does seem to progress a little less every episode. I hope they can keep the pace up a bit so that this series can have a long life span.

No ****, it still spoils it. I don't plan on reading the story/comics, so therefore reading it on wikipedia or any site will spoil any future episodes.

I believe the comics have a different story than the series anyway, I think the series picks storylines and characters from the comics occasionally, but if it were true to them, Rick would only have one arm by now.
I truely love this show, but it's dragging on a bit. It's taken five episodes to get from one bit of road to a house, just because the little girl couldn't do what Rick told her to. I honestly hope she ends up dead, I hope her mother kills herself out of grief (or stays with the farm people), her character is starting to annoy me so much.

I knew there would be zombies in that barn, from the first moment Rick mentions it, Hershel (sp?) is pretty quick to tell them to leave it. Definitely either zombie relatives or maybe other people who have seeked refuge there? Me and my buddy think they've found a way to sterilise and eat the flesh, there's a lot of people up in that farmhouse, they've gotta be eating something.

I think Rick needs to start listening to Shane more. Rick is far too blinded by the grief of the girl, when it wasn't his fault she ran away. I think they need to move out before more people get seriously hurt like Daryl did. That blonde girl that shot Daryl is also really beginning to bug me, she needs to be bitten or killed or something

What did you guys think of episode 6? Episode 7 is out on the internet nowi think, haven't watched it yet though.

Episode 6 had some very good scenes. Very interesting but the storyline didn't progress too much.

This was the best episode of the season by far, you could feel the tensions rising between all the characters and the final scene with the barn was done fantastically whilst Ershall looked on helpless. Than (lead character cant remember name) put his money where his mouth was a killed zombie Sophia. (Fantastic moment.) Only gutting thing is episode 8 isn't out till the 12th of February :O I can't wait to see where this season takes us next.

The webisodes are pretty good but very short. It's a nice extra to see if you find there are too few episodes so far, helps with the cravings :l

So far Series 2 has been good, fleshing out the rest of the group was definitely a good move, but they took far too long building up to the outcome of Sophia's disappearance. It was very obvious the first time Rick mentioned the barn to Herschel that zombies were in there, and it didn't take a genius to work that Sophia might be in there as well. I am truely glad that this arc is over with though, all that needs to be done is punch Herschel around a bit for blatantly lying to them about Sophia's whereabouts and then moving on to more zombie killing

Comic is worth reading. Theres people that are complaining about how the show is taking a diffrent direction than the comic but i like that gives people 2 diffrent storys and what ifs etc. One Gripe i have with the comic is the 1st issue had an amazing artist and then the artist left so they got someone new and the art slips a bit.

The majority of American shows have midseason breaks anyway, Its sometimes to do with just ratings and schedule of the channel.

Anyway,
After only start watching the show four days ago I'm completely in love with it. I always hated horror / zombie movies because of them being gory. But I love the WD, I like the fact its a show and continues and is not all contained in a movie. But also I like the way they've treated the zombies in different ways especially how people see them.

I like Season 1 very much it was a great introduction to the show especially loved Ricks character, my favourite episode being the finale at the CDC, I thought it was very cleverly done. Though it changed my opinion of Dale from being a father like figure to being a bit of **** escpially in the last episode and I think thats grown through out Season 2 were he in some way cares too much.

Now for Season 2, I loved it very much, I'm glad they found the safe haven. I thought it was really good done. But to those people who said in the middle it dragged on a bit. I sort of disagree because I loved it because realistically I could picture it being like that. I also felt Season 2 was more character in-depth the relations changing between characters and how they interact and I really like the character driven episodes and how in-depth we know them. Its one of the great things of it being a TV show is more can be explored in fine detail then a two hour movie. I known it might be a bit obvious that Sophia may have been turned into a Walker but I think the way it played out was very well done.

I really can't wait till it returns in February. The only thing is i'll now have to wait each week after an episode. As it was great just catching up watching them back to back.

I really miss Shane and Rick being buddies but he definitely needed to go. I saw some spoilers on Tumblr which sort of make sense so I'll discuss them but they are MAJOR SPOILERS (if they are true)

Right so on Tumblr I saw photos of Rick, Lori, Shane and Glen as zombies, and I was like ok, maybe they're gonna do a Lost and everyone's already dead/it's Carl's coma dream and he wakes up back at the farm, but then I saw something else.
Remember the guy from the CDC (I think) at the end of the first series, he whispered something into Rick's ear? I saw a clip from it where a guy had slowerd it down and **** and it looks exactly like he says 'we're already infected'. Now this would make perfect sense because both Randall and Shane weren't bitten or scratched, but turned. Me and my friend think that getting wounded (Randall hurt himself getting out of his cuffs, and Shane obviously got stabbed) or maybe really agitated speeds up the 'turning process'. Now I think this would be a really cool thing, but we've never seen Rick reflect upon it, and it is huge ******* news, so I'm not 100% whether it's real. I can understand him not telling the others because of hysteria and stuff, however there have been no (that I can remember) flashback parts to him telling Rick that, so who knows?

Yes we are getting a season 3, and alot more after that aslong as they get the funds :)

The comics go on for along time, and the tv show hasnt stuck to the same ideas as the comic but i can see this going on for along time now reckon 8/9 seasons maybe more if the fans are still there.

I really miss Shane and Rick being buddies but he definitely needed to go. I saw some spoilers on Tumblr which sort of make sense so I'll discuss them but they are MAJOR SPOILERS (if they are true)

Right so on Tumblr I saw photos of Rick, Lori, Shane and Glen as zombies, and I was like ok, maybe they're gonna do a Lost and everyone's already dead/it's Carl's coma dream and he wakes up back at the farm, but then I saw something else.
Remember the guy from the CDC (I think) at the end of the first series, he whispered something into Rick's ear? I saw a clip from it where a guy had slowerd it down and **** and it looks exactly like he says 'we're already infected'. Now this would make perfect sense because both Randall and Shane weren't bitten or scratched, but turned. Me and my friend think that getting wounded (Randall hurt himself getting out of his cuffs, and Shane obviously got stabbed) or maybe really agitated speeds up the 'turning process'. Now I think this would be a really cool thing, but we've never seen Rick reflect upon it, and it is huge ******* news, so I'm not 100% whether it's real. I can understand him not telling the others because of hysteria and stuff, however there have been no (that I can remember) flashback parts to him telling Rick that, so who knows?

Its nothing to do with if they get hurt.. Carl for shot and lived, its if they die.. Randall has hes next snapped = Dead, Shane was shot = Dead, you have to die to come back, not get hurt. its like also when T Dog got hurt.. didnt turn.

I've really fell in love with this show. Loved the finale.

Decided to keep me occupied till Season 3 I'm going to catch up on all the comics.

Is It just me though all Is like everyone discussing this in school/college. It's like my whole sixth form are discussing the show and how great it's been. Its defiantly got a good and big fan base now.
