Just did a rough addition of a Casino I walked into. 443,000 credits worth. Approx 1,300 thrones. How do people get this ridiculously rich? :S:S
Thread moved by Infectious (Forum Super Moderator): From "Anything about Trading and Furni", as it is better suited here!
It's redic. isn't it.
Also, they've usually scammed loads and loads of people over their time and done their fair share of hacking. :P

Usually a case of the rich get richer, if you have 500t a throne bet is a regular occurrence, soon adds up :p

They use a lot of money to buy the credits or they scam. :P

Scamming
Being too addicted
Not having a life
Seriously, I think people who own casinos like that are simply pathetic. It's a virtual game - Oh look, I have 44,000 virtual coins -cry-.
And as other people have said, hacking is nearly almost involved. I steer clear of casinos - 99% a scam xx
Never been scammed at a casino, casino's are lose/win situations and it is a gamble... Like an IRL casino.
But yes, Habbo has been around for a long time now and it doesn't take long to build it up.
I do trading, I built up a lot in 3 months of trading... Just need to know the market.

I seriously don't understand some of these replies they don't even answer the question lmao.
Anyway, I feel that they become 'friendly' with other Habbos and then eventually they may trust them with furni, give them furni etc.
Also, some of those who are really rich might have been playing for years and in 2004 (I think) all those rares were released so they could have gained through that maybe?
Yeah, I got rich Sept 26, 2004 That's when I first started playing and I had like 3,000 hcs and now I'm only worth like 4K

I know a lot of people get wealthy because they're absolutely amazing on Runescape and earn absolute fortunes every single day. Then they simply trade Runescape for Habbo :)

oh i never knew it happened on the .com server
I think people forget how many habbos have next to nothing, theres only like a 0.00005% that own the huge casinos etc out of the millions of users. I would say a good 80% have just a rooms worth or less. Especially when habbos spend most of their credits on hc/vip and have nothing to show for it.
If you have any habbo economy sense 4k worth is a lot in comparison.

I like this dude, didnt say anything negative on this thread.
I really "dislike" the people that say dealers scammed, hacked and such.
:/
Most of the users on here are that type of player that chills.
Then theres us who does marketing, dealing, casinos.
2 very different types of players.
One has there opionions. The other knows the facts.
Those facts really are, that most dealers do scam, but there is a good deal of people who are safe, and won't scam. Yet there is an extent. Those that place the bet of 300t is like saying, SCAM ME PLEASEE.
that's there own fault.
Scamming and hacking and buying is not how people really get rich on habbo, they been playing for awhile, they have illegal marketing ways of getting rich (go to my post history >_>)
A little experience i had in 48 hour time.
I used to be somewhat rich years back, quit, came back never the same.
One August day, did something that is not appropiate on these forums, got 13GB made my own sino, lost alot down to 3gb, bet EGyptianBeauty, got up 24GB,Total of 27GB, I started dealing that day in big casinos, Minted's, (miss her :/)
I was doing great, losing bets winning, winning just enough to have a slight increase. BEt 7GB to $@^%# She payed 7gb but said she needed to get her clone for the other 7.. yano where this is going...
kept dealing.. ended up losing it all. Being safe...
Point in this story is, I made 24GB in betting, (playing the right game, knowing the dice, gotta have the casino logic,) in 45 minutes.
YOu have to be casino smart, not just in habbo but in real life too.
Gotta know when to stop betting when to bet who to bet.
Gotta know when to stop dealing when to deal who to deal to howto attract. How to "grab."

The are just crazy, the people who have all of that stuff must be addicts!
And if I do ever do go in a casino its when I've accidently pressed on the room, ive never played on a casino and I never will.

I used to say the samething but one day... one day(;
I'm 50-50 about this subject. Yes, a lot of super casinos have hacked/scammed furni in them, but there are some legit people. Back in 04 I used to have a super casino, full walls of djs and dinos and such, and I gained that wealth from simply being trustworthy and spending all my time (when on habbo) in booths at rich peoples casinos, like Cyclic, if you remember him (had more thrones than anyone back then) and ToyBox and those guys.
I wouldn't say that everyone who owns a super casino have no lives, granted that's true for quite a few, but it's all about how you play the game really, some play it conservatively and slow and do everything in the game but others are hell bent on getting e-rich.
If I never got hacked I would for sure have a super casino right now, but there's scammers/hackers/dirtbags everywhere on the internet, has and always will be.
Now that I'm "poor" I do still bet, usually bulk norms to random people just for s' and g's.

Heh. I am poor on habbo now, ask shazzeh. I got rich by being part of krews and "the dark side", used to love it. A very popular website back in the day had a very smart usersystem that was designed to steal furniture + accounts.
And because it was a trustworthy site nobody blinked an eyelid at it! Still have the file.saved somewhere where it has about 4k usernames and passwords all saved and mostly raided.
Am I proud of how I got wealthy? Sure am. Steal from the rich and keep from the poor! I also used to do the old switch a too when it came to trading where you'd make a clone and trade people to bet. Risky bbut good payoffs. This was all back when rares like imps here 6-7hcs.

Not every dealer hacks or scams. Most of them get the riches via illegal methods where they buy very cheap and just gradually spend all their money on Habbo. Not saying where or anything as that is against the rules but it is ture and I know A LOT of people who have done that. It isn't hard when breaking the rules. But I advise people not to do it because the chances are of them paying all their money for illegal methods and then get banned.

This is how:
Life > Habbo > Money > eBay > Habbo
it's not too hard to build up an e-fortune if you know how to do it
once you get started it all seems to come easily
but seriously at £10 a throne that's over £13,000... why are these people still playing if they could get 13k lmao...
some guy told me before that he makes a living irl hacking habbos and selling their stuff... like he doesn't have a job that's genuinely it... pathetic i know, but still, he's probably living quite comfortably

Excuse me? How can you class those people as addicts and having no life? With your criteria I can judge everyone on habbo as addicts and having no life

Fine, maybe I had one of my classic rages that day and criticised all those people.
I'm just saying, that the MAJORITY (NOT all) of 'rich' (whatever you class as rich) people are addicts and obsessed with money - I've known quite a few (know 1 irl) of them who are absolutely addicted to the game and srsly, don't have a life.
I now understand, that someeee of the rich people, just build it up over time.
Also, I can see why you would say that people on Habbo have no life...

I think you should all watch what you say. Branding Blinger "disgusting" is out of order considering none of you actually know him. Yeah he did that stuff but you all act like he's the only one that did it, back the **** down - it's hardly in real life. Habbo is a game, some of you take it far too seriously.

some people get rich from hacking/reverting/whatever they do it's horrible knowing people like that because you're constantly worried they'll hack you or find your address and stuff. Other people buy their furni/credits from a certain site. Some people are just lucky and win almost all the bets. Some people scam bets.

Ehehe. I don't care. I was probably about 14-15 at the time? Oh yeah, you can have more of my stuff when I'm next on i have no use for it!
And the other two people, I'm sure you're just jealous that you guys didn't get a cut of the action!

It is disgusting to take pride in it, sure you could use the it's only a game y so srs? excuse but these could be people who have paid to get more out of Habbo, how can you justify the actions?? There are 11 year olds on Habbo, it's as bad as taking a lollipop from a baby
Mainly hacking / scamming. A good story to read is Hachette's (search owner:hachette) on console to see how he got upto like 1000t.
Though dice accelerators were fun to use before they were patched. Dice rigging was also popular, ahh Vodor and your 1000 thrones.
