MSN Glitch/Broke

Whenever I log into MSN and try talking to someone, this is what I get. My Text Box is taken up by a random assortment of letters and numbers. I cannot edit/delete this. Also where the "sent messages" go, there is the same thing. I cannot receive messages from people either.

I have tried re-installing Windows Live Messenger, but it didn't fix the program. Any idea's?
There is no error code so I cant research it further.

delete and uninstall ALL of MSN 2011 and downgrade to 2009? I've stayed on 2009 since 2011 has been out and I've had no problems. In my opinion, 2011 is complete and utter ****
