Hey,

Mums birthday coming up soon, so looking at tv's. Currently found this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Digihome-LCD19913HDDVD-19-inch-Widescreen-Freeview/dp/B004S00CHY/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1319562277&sr=1-4

M (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Digihome-LCD19913HDDVD-19-inch-Widescreen-Freeview/dp/B004S00CHY/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1319562277&sr=1-4)y max budget is £120, and just wondering if people can find better that - I don't want refurbished, second hand or anything like that - and will not buy from ebay - only reliable websites.

+Rep to anyone with recommendations.

Also, will this allow it to get signal so it can be used in any room? http://www.amazon.co.uk/digiTop-Amplified-Performance-Freeview-Wideband/dp/B001ACV7E0/ref=pd_cp_ce_4 (so it doesn't need to be plugged in to a wall (well obviously power supply..)

I know it's £10 over budget but it comes with freeview and 3" larger

OOh that does look decent.

Also, the other one comes with freeview - just the two rooms my mum would probably put it in don't have the plugs in the wall to actually get the signal - hence the need for the aerial.

Ah the SHARP tv lacks a DVD player, which is a nice addition to the digithing one

When is your Mum's birthday? The one you've looked at is out of stock at the moment.

That's the same size and price.

Nothing wrong with ebay aslong as you don't buy it off dodgy sellers, although I'd personally never do it, but at that budget not much choice if you want a decent brand :P

And LG beats any no-name brand :)

That price range its mostly 19"

I don't mind if it is 19in, as long as it is a decent tv. I never specified a size haha - if you find a decent 19in, please post! :)

Ah, I assumed the "+21" was referring to size.

Well you could save yourself money and get the Samsung LE19C350 (http://www.richersounds.com/product/lcd-tv/samsung/le19c350/sams-le19c350) which comes with built in freeview and HD ready (and 75x75 VESA fittings) so is wall mountable.
