Yeah, this was mentioned a while ago and they said they would remove it.

They said they were going to remove it when they created it as everyone kicked off about it, so it's about time :P

They'll just create a 'News Feed' now or something to go with the friends feed, to further clutter up the client.

Can't wait for it to go, I don't look at it. If I do wanna check the news I look at the homepage that's what it's for.

When you load the hotel, or get kicked from a room, the pop-up news on the right hand side shows up showing you all the latest articles.

This is Habbo, and they'll do what they like lol. I personally hate all the new changes, the client looks really cluttered. Thats why i just pulled that out of the dark, as it really wouldn't surprise me now.
