[HELP] Making a Christmas tree with small trees

I'm just wondering if anyone can help me, I'm trying to make a like small enough Christmas tree with the smaller trees as they look good.

Basically, as you go further to the middle, I think each tree goes up by 2 z shells (maybe 3). I remember making a small one ages ago :P.

I think this is right, I did make one last year but I really can't remember what I used to get it right. :)
