I need to access a mySQL database from another place so i cannot use 'localhost'
What do I put to replace localhost?

The mySQL database is hosted on simplexwebs

You need to put Simplex's server IP or a domain that points to it in place of localhost, then you need to tell Simplex the IP of the server you're connecting from otherwise you'll get caught up in the firewall :P

Yeah...

Hi Tom,

Firstly you can use any domain or IP that is assigned to our server (i.e. vertigo.simplexnetwork.com or dembaland.com or 188.227.161.2). Secondly you will have to inform us of the server's IP from which you are connecting to MySQL so we can add it to our firewall allow list.

Warm Regards
