Someone told be about this video and its a lion (apparently) walking around the new college which has openend up down the road from where I live.
The Youtube channel where it's from is the actual colleges so it must be their CCTV.

It looks a bit big to be a normal cat, I noticed at 8/9 seconds it jumps a bit, but that might just be their CCVT.

I don't think anyone else has spotted a lion around the area

Not sure about a lion but there's been many sightings over the past couple of years of big cats that look like pumas and so on. I do wonder If we do actually have big cats like that roaming around.

that's fairly obviously a cat
presuming the stripes on that side of the thing are the same width as those on the nearer side then it's no very big at all

That just looks like an ordinary cat to me, way too small to be a lion :P

It does look like just a normal cat to me as well. Looks like somebody is playing a prank.

I don't buy into the whole big cats in the UK thing, inevitably there might be one or two that have escaped but the constant rumours of there being loads in the countryside for decades is nonsense. In the past 50 years, only one has been found and the likes of poo and habitats etc for them is never found either.

It's obviously a forest spirit that has lost its way due to industrialization.

Passengers were not allowed off a train at a West Yorkshire village after reports a lion and a cub had "jumped on the tracks".

It's abit big to be a normal cat, but there is a breed of cat that can grow to the size of a dog, as my mum is interested in getting one.

If it's a cat, it's a cat on steroids.

There's supposedly one or two in Essex, creatively called the Essex Puma and Essex Panther :P I've seen what looked like one near the zoo, as have a few other people in the area but whether or not it was actually a cat and not a large, black dog is another question :P They're not a threat so far so it's not really seen as a problem in the area, unless people really like the deer here. Interesting you brought this up as this is exactly what I thought of when reading this thread :P

As for this, it could be as it is quite large, but many people are buying large, domestic cats. If it was a lion, you would know as they're far bigger than this. Interesting either way.
