Forum Updates 07/11/11

Just three updates this week which are the following:


Removal of the Halloween Skin
Addition of the new Site Skin
Addition of the tagging system

As Halloween has been and gone we have now removed the Halloween skin for another year!

We have now released the new Site skin. As Habbox has had a new layout we have now got a new forum skin to match it. A big thanks to HotelUser for creating the skin. It has now been set as default!

A lot of people said they wanted a tagging system so it has now been introduced! You can now tag a member in your post and they will receive a PM & Quote notification the same way they would if their post was quoted (If you have the setting set so that you do not receive a PM when you are quoted then you won't receive a PM when you're tagged) If you're tagged in a post you can see it from the same place as the "Who quoted me?" in your UserCP.

In the very near future this will hopefully be changing to a notification form rather than a PM!

To tag someone in your post all you have to do is put an at symbol "@ " in front of a forum members name and it will tag them. [@]@sct[/@] [@]@HotelUser[/@] [@]@xxMATTGxx[/@]

(Please note that any abuse of this system will result in you being contacted by the moderation department, a new rule regarding the tagging of users will be introduced soon)
