If you are given one chance to choose whatever language you want to learn, what would it be and why?
I myself want to learn Swahili language even though I'm not sure what's the reason. Probably it's related to Nelson Mandela.
So, that's it. What about you?

Mexican isn't a language Chantelle xL - the closest to 'Mexican language' is 'Mexican-Spanish'. But most just speak Spanish.
Relating to that, it'd probably be Spanish for me. I just love the sound of the language, the accent... just everything AND it's the 3rd most spoken language in the world, so imo it would be rather useful ;3
We also didn't get offered Spanish in our school (-cry) which is another reason why I'd like to learn it :P

According to listverse.com, Spanish is the 4th most spoken language with a total of 392 million speakers. :)
Mandarin is the most spoken language in the world with a 1billion + speakers.
My language choice is French, i find it quite interesting.
just saying, Mandarin is actually a very good language. It's quite easy to learn :)

I'd choose either French or Japanse. I don't know why, but I really want to be able to speak in both of those languages :P.

Aww, damn. I was so close.
I knew Mandarin Chinese was first, I'm fairly sure English is second and I thought Spanish was 3rd?
If Spanish isn't 3rd... what is? XL
-------
I looked at the list.. I didn't know that 'Hindustani' was 3rd? :O I thought it was like 10th. And Russian is 5th? Wow.
You learn something new every day XL
I'd love to learn how to speak Swedish! Also, learning sign language would be really nice. :)
I've learnt French and Spanish at school, carrying on with Spanish for my GCSE though!
