View Full Version : [Bobba] Things you hate about the world of habbo trading
If this belongs in general etc please feel free to move it.
With all the general angst about trading in habbo which things annoy you the most?
Mine are...
1) People who sit/stack gbs in furni shops....spend them and have fun like normal habbos
2) Habbos that wander into a shop and then leave...seriously find something else to do
3)Shops with no system/que line
4)The general asking people to offer thing, they will almost always offer very low because they are oppurtunists trading for profit
I know I've missed the obvious 'marketplace' but I dont mind market too much as i often don't have the patience to go and find items i need and would rather spend a bit more to buy them!
Cant think of anymore at the mo!(H)

Mine are;
. Shop owners who have a queue, but just let people in the doorway buy without lining up :S
. An 'offer' conversation - So I could ask, how much? and the Seller goes Offer? Then I say "You offer first", then the Seller says "You offer first" and so on.
. BLUDY PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BUY ROLLERS AT 2 FOR 1C. There is no way I'm going to help decrease a value of a roller to 0.5c, it's 1c per. or ****. It does work if you hold your ground, I often manage to sell rollers 1c per :)
. People who ask 'You buy'... even when I put in the room title, event name, room description and on a stiki that I'm not buying -_-

I agree with everything, I hate when owners ask you to offer, it is their coin shop, they should know the prices for everything, when you go into a grocery store, the price tag for a box cereal doesn't say "offer" does it?

Idm Bidding Wars because I never get involved xL and the 'MOODLIGHT NFS' thing - well I do that, but I hide the moodlight... I just like making the room like pretty ;3
Marketplace I never really use. And omg, don't get me started on un-tradeable furni. It's just like ... I didn't come here to buy a non-tradeable pixel chair!!!! >.<

When you've been queuing up for agess to buy something, then someone comes in the room and shouts 'owner can I buy..' and then it's gone :@.
And I can't express how much I hate all the untradeable furniture on the hotel :P!

I hate when people advertise "MASSIVE CRED STORE" and you go in and it's tiny and half of it is pixel furni -_-
I also hate when it say "5+ floor cred shop" and bettween all the floors there isn't even enough to fill one decent sized room.

i hate buying anything on habbo. i like to get it free
To be honest, i don't think you need a queue line to buy furniture. It would be much more easier for me to just ask the owner for the prices and quickly move to the other shop. Saved my time trading :P
'donate pls'
people who walk into a shop, say they will buy, then leave
people who backchat in ques
Sellers who demand that buyers offer.
Buyers who refer to the seller as "OWNER"
Shops which have furniture in that is not for sale.
Shops which are small and hold very useless furniture.
Buyers who try to change the deal in the middle of the trade. "1c discount plz, im poor"
On the plus side I am opening a shop either today or tomorrow. Mainly norms.

I've always disliked shop owners who never reply / go 'afk' or just simply leave and come back five minutes later. If you're in a shop, don't you think you would be there consistently until your done?

I agree with everyone LOL.
but I'd like to add this
♦ When your price is generally higher than what they are offering, they would say something like "rip off" or "good luck selling this crap!" or "overpriced poo head" :[@]@
♦[/@] I've had this once, I was selling a Frank Brain for 100c when it was like 35c and the guy in doorway was like "FRANK BRAIN IS WORTH LIKE 35C LOOOOOL" and then the guy cancelled omg
OK I AM SELLING IT FOR 100C AND THE GUY IS BUYING IT, I DON'T THINK IT IS ANY OF UR BUSINESSS
